You can unwind in this spacious waterfront house, which has room for everyone and includes all the comforts to ensure you enjoy your visit and want to come back again to this slice of paradise. The space Kondari offers stunning water views from both floors of the house. Open the french doors to capture the sea breezes. Stroll down to the beach, or laze away the afternoon. Perfect for family or group getaways! The House: Downstairs at ground level there are 2 x living areas, kitchen, dining and a full length deck along the front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with full oven, hot plates, microwave and dishwasher. There is a coffee machine available (bring your own ground coffee and milk). Water dispenser/drinking water is provided for those who prefer not to drink tank water. Dining table seats 8. There are 2 additional living areas - the rear lounge includes a smart television, the front lounge is suited to enjoying the views and reading a book. Also downstairs is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. There is also a full bathroom downstairs including toilet, shower and hand basin. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms - the main includes a queen size bed, TV and has direct access to WIR, ensuite and deck; 2nd room includes a queen size bed and has direct access to deck; 3rd room includes a queen size bed with direct access to deck; 4th room has 2 single beds. There is also a sitting room with access to the deck and includes a day bed with trundle bed. Bedrooms 2 to 4 have access to a shared toilet and bathroom. Included Extras: Starlink Wifi throughout the house; Smart TV; Coffee Machine; BBQ; Highchair; Books and Games. Linen is provided: including all bedding and bath towels. There are some basic pantry items included to get you started: salt, pepper, oil, tea and coffee etc. Kondari is a spacious two-storey house, with french doors and balconies that make the most of the view. While here you will have access to the entire house. Furry friends are welcome, and the back yard is fenced, but may not be suitable for smaller dogs. The front yard is not fenced. *****For larger gatherings Poona Heights Kondari and Poona Heights Milbi can be booked together when available - which is an ideal solution for larger groups to holiday together. To book both houses please make two bookings - 1 for Kondari and 1 for Milbi. Milbi is a low-set fully self contained unit with a double and single bed in the shared bedroom. Milbi has a fenced rear yard.***** The location: Poona is a friendly little seaside town that offers peaceful days and lots of serenity! Poona Heights Kondari is located right on the water on the Fraser Coast, with fantastic views across the Great Sandy Strait to K'gari. If you enjoy fishing - beach fishing is available within a 30 metre walk, or boat access is a 2 minute drive to the newly refurbished boat ramp. The protected and calm waters make kayaking and paddle boarding good options for the more adventurous. For nature lovers - birds and other wildlife can be easily spotted along the foreshore and the sunrise and high tides are a photographer's dream. Locally, the Poona General Store stocks all the essentials, home cooked baked treats and take away food options if you want a break from cooking. The "Tides Out Cafe and Bar" offers dine in and take away options when open and is located next to the Poona Boat Ramp and Caravan Park. Every Friday night the Poona Community Hall offers a dine in restaurant experience. Currently, there are no petrol options in Poona, the nearest petrol station is located at Maryborough. Vehicle access to K'gari is via the Barge at River Heads or Inskip Point. Hervey Bay, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach are less than an hours drive away and are great day trip options. Boonooroo is 20 minute drive away and has a great bowls club with sensational cold beers and family friendly dine in meals. Maryborough offers major shopping and retail options and is a 30 minute drive away. The town is a lovely historic town and is also the birth place of 'Mary Poppins'. Please note there is no undercover parking at Kondari. You can park off street in the fenced back yard, or on the grass area close to the house. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, and the fenced rear yard, and unfenced front yard.
