Next to an historic woolshed, on a new lavender and flower farm, this self contained guest suite offers privacy, comfort and a relaxing country experience surrounded by open fields, big skies and ancient gum trees. Attached to the main house, with its own entrance, the space is thoughtfully designed for a relaxed stay. A light-filled living area, quality linens and access to cooking facilities, it’s an ideal place to unwind and relax. Well behaved dog and owners welcome (but please read below) The space Escape to The Wild Garden, a charming rural retreat in the heart of Southern South Australia. Nestled on 12 hectares of scenic countryside, our property features fragrant lavender, herbs, and flower gardens, a historic stone woolshed, and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Enjoy the peace and privacy of rural life, encounter native wildlife, and bring your dog along by arrangement. With rainwater-supplied soft water, cozy accommodations, and a European inspired rustic feel, The Wild Garden is the perfect place to disconnect, recharge, and experience the beauty of the Australian countryside. Location: Please note the property is in the country. That means the nearest shop selling basic supplies and take away (til 6pm close) is 7kms away, and the nearest pub is 25kms away. I can provide light bites (ploughmans plate, cheese board, pizza, soup) with 48 hours notice. Guest access Guests have a private pergola and entrance. You are welcome to explore the gardens but please do not use the hosts private undercover dining area or eastern verandah area (facing the road) Other things to note **Dog Owners** Please ensure you obtain approval to bring your dog before arrival. * Dangerous dogs: Dangerous breeds or any which have ever shown aggression towards humans or animals are strictly prohibited * Cleaning: The space is carpeted. Long haired breeds, and those prone to excessive shedding will incur an additional cleaning cost of $30 *Cleaning up after your dog: Please make sure to check the grounds before you leave. Failure to clean up your dogs poop will incur an additional cleaning cost of $65 Kitchenette: The space has a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer, electric fry pan cutlery and plates. Guests also have access to a bbq (baby Weber Q)
