Everything is conveniently on one level, and it’s kitted out with all the comforts you could wish for, from fluffy towels and Wi-Fi to a lovely welcome pack to get your holiday started. This spot is a dream for photographers, nature lovers and water sport junkies, you can launch your own kayak or paddleboard right from the cottage’s own quay and paddle down the Deben for lunch at one of its many waterside pubs. Need a mooring? Please let us know as this can be arranged. Prefer solid ground? Set off on a scenic country walk or bike ride to discover the beautiful surrounding countryside. A fantastic, award-winning pub is just a short stroll from your door, serving up delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While it feels like you're gloriously tucked away, you’re perfectly placed to explore all of Suffolk's treasures. The famous coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, the ancient mystery of Sutton Hoo, and the world-class concert hall at Snape Maltings are all an easy and scenic drive away. Arriving at Quayside Cottage, you will find a useful porch, the perfect place to leave your boots and coats after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to feel at home, from an oven and an air-fryer to a washer/dryer for your convenience. In the evenings, the living room offers a cosy spot to unwind on the sofa, with a Smart TV and an electric fireplace creating cosy vibes. The real highlight, however, is the fabulous sunroom; with a comfortable sofa and a dining table, it's the ideal place to enjoy a meal or a morning coffee while soaking in those incredible views over the River Deben. The peaceful bedroom features a comfortable king bed and ample storage in its sliding wardrobes, along with an ensuite shower room. For extra convenience, there is also a separate cloakroom with a WC and basin. Step outside into the gorgeous garden, which leads directly onto the River Deben. A bricked patio offers a lovely space for relaxing, while a winding path guides you down towards the water. Head through the gate at the bottom, and you’ll find a riverside spot with a table and chairs to enjoy. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine as you watch the world float by. Finally, there is a more sheltered spot over looking the wildlife pond. Please note the quay and the seats at the wildlife pond are shared with guests at the neighbouring cottage, The Boathouse. Guest access Porch A handy spot to store your boots, coats and bags. Kitchen The galley style kitchen is well-equipped with an oven & hob, fridge/ freezer, toaster, kettle, air-fryer, microwave, washer/dryer and cafetiere. Living Room The living room offer a cosy sofa, armchair, Smart TV, DVD player, films and electric fireplace. Bedroom and Ensuite The bedroom has a king-sized bed, bedside tables, dressing table and sliding door wardrobes. The ensuite offers a shower and basin. Sun Room The sun room has a sofa, dining table, armchair with footstool and views over the Deben. Cloakroom The cloakroom has a WC and basin.
