This 16-foot Mongolian Yurt sits on a private deck with an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and Church Pond. It has a double bed, bunk bed, table, and chairs. On clear nights, you can open the canvas roof and watch stars through the skylight. There’s no electricity, but solar lights. The wood stove will keep you cozy in cold months. Showers and washrooms are 25 meters away in Whiff's Lodge. Dogs are welcome for $15 a night. The space This yurt is part of the whole Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort with gardens, forest, apple orchard, Church Pond and access to the Atlantic Ocean. If you like the great outdoors, you can go for walks and swims, rent a kayak, canoe or paddle board, explore waterfalls with two hikes out the door, have a fire under the stars... Or if you're playing an instrument, jam on the stage in our lodge. Or take some time and relax in a hot tub (for surcharge), join us for morning meditation and more. Guest access While staying with us, you have access to two big common rooms in our main lodge. Downstairs you'll find a ping pong/pool table, books and games. Upstairs we have a great room with a big wood stove, comfy couches, lots of books, free wifi and this is also where our Bistro is located. We serve breakfast and dinner, both featuring homemade and as often as possible homegrown food from our organic garden. Packed lunches are available after request, too. During your stay Front desk is typically open from 8am-8pm daily. The main lodge stays open 24 hours for guests. Other things to note There is no cell reception in Indian Brook. A few kilometers up and down the road, reception is available if needed. Otherwise we have a landline our guests can use and free wifi in the main lodge. Registration Details STR2526T9517
