Take the whole family to this great home with room for fun and entertainment. The space The spacious property is located on a plot of about 1,700 m² and offers plenty of space to relax and feel good. The house has three comfortable bedrooms (2x with 140x200 bed and 1x where the bed can be pulled out to 160x200) plus a children's travel cot. As well as a spacious living room, which is additionally equipped with a sofa bed and thus offers additional overnight accommodation. The large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area invites you to cook and linger together. Another room is equipped with a seating area and a dartboard and is ideal for social evenings. The amenities also include a guest toilet and a separate toilet with shower, which provides additional comfort. There is a sauna (electric) and a fireplace. The spacious garden offers plenty of outdoor space. For dog owners, a fenced area is available specifically for dogs, which guarantees safety and free roaming. (Please dispose of dog waste.) The Kemijoki is within walking distance (about 5–10 minutes) and offers opportunities for swimming, fishing and other water activities. There are forests in the immediate vicinity, also within a few minutes' walk, which are ideal for walks and short hikes. In the region, it is not uncommon to see reindeer, hear elk and, with a little luck, even observe the northern lights. Everything important in the village is within easy walking distance: Two well-stocked supermarkets, several playgrounds for children, sports and leisure facilities, a pharmacy, a hospital, a bank and a pizzeria with various dishes. Taxis are also available in the village if you do not want to walk or drive yourself. Sweden is not far away for larger purchases and more choice – many things are cheaper there and there are numerous shopping and entertainment options. Kemi is also within easy reach; from there you can reach the Baltic Sea (Gulf of Bothnia). A special highlight: in just over an hour's drive along the beautiful route on the Kemijoki, you will reach the world-famous Santa Claus Village near Rovaniemi – a real Lappish experience for young and old. Tervola combines tranquillity, nature and short distances – perfect for a relaxing stay in the heart of Lapland. **************************************** House rules & terms of use (Part of the rental agreement when booking on Airbnb) ============================= By booking and staying in this holiday home, all guests acknowledge these house rules and terms of use as a binding part of the rental agreement. They apply to all accompanying persons. 1. Occupancy: ---------------- Maximum 8 adults + 1 toddler (cot available) Exceeding the maximum number of people is not permitted. Visitors only after prior arrangement with the host 2. Smoking: ---------------- There is strictly no smoking inside the house. Smoking is allowed exclusively outside the house. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. In the event of a violation, additional cleaning or damage costs will be charged. 3. Parties & gatherings: -------------------------------------- Parties are allowed, provided that they: take place in an orderly and controlled framework, do not cause any damage and Respect neighbours, nature and the environment. No uncontrolled celebrations or large external events. In the event of complaints, damage or rule violations, the stay can be terminated without a refund. 4. Quiet & consideration: ---------------------------------- Respect for neighbours, nature and the environment is mandatory. Excessive noise must be avoided at all times, especially in the evening and at night. Please keep music and conversations outside at an appropriate volume. 5. Sauna (electric sauna): ------------------------------- Use only in accordance with the instructions. No flammable or unsuitable objects in the sauna. After use, the sauna must be switched off and adequately ventilated. Children may only use the sauna under adult supervision. 6. Stove: ------------------ The stove may only be used as intended. After each use, the fireplace must be left clean again, in particular: Remove ash (only after complete cooling). Ensure cleanliness in and around the oven area. The guest will be charged for any contamination, damage or additional cleaning costs due to improper use. 7. Beds, linens & towels: ---------------------------------------------- The beds are to be made by the guest himself Fresh bed linen and towels are ready on the beds upon arrival. THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO DEPARTURES: *Bed linen must be removed from the beds. *Used bed linen and towels must be placed neatly in front of the beds. *Used laundry may not be left in the bathroom or in cupboards. 8. Bath & shower: ---------------------- The shower walls must be dried after each use with the squeegee provided to avoid water and limescale stains. A fee may be charged for additional cleaning due to non-compliance. 9. Cleanliness, tidiness & condition on departure: --------------------------------- The holiday home must be left in a clean and well-kept condition upon departure. This includes in particular: *Dishes completely rinsed and put away. *Wipe work surfaces, tables and kitchen appliances clean. *Floors vacuumed or swept, wiped if necessary. *Garb discarded *Refrigerator empty (no food leftovers) The house is to be handed over swept clean and tidy. If the holiday home is left heavily soiled or neglected, an additional cleaning fee will be charged. 10. Waste disposal & waste separation: -------------------------------------------- The waste must be carefully separated. Each tenant is obliged to dispose of their own rubbish >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Garbage cans for disposal are located at many supermarkets, including: *Sale *K-Market as well as in our street at = Sale Tervola Kurjentie 1, 95300 Tervola, Finland K-Market Tervola Keskustie 84, 95300 Tervola, Finland Rubbish bags must not be overfilled, as the openings of the rubbish bins are not particularly large. Compostable waste must be disposed of in the back of the garden, left corner, in the designated compost area. The black bin to the left of the house near the driveway must NOT be used. Failure to do so may result in additional disposal or cleaning costs. 11. Careful handling of the house and inventory: -------------------------------------------- All furniture, appliances and furnishings must be handled with care and in an orderly manner. Improper use or grossly negligent handling may lead to claims for damages. Damage or defects must be reported immediately. 12. Damage, loss & exceptional soiling: -------------------------------------------- Damage, loss of objects of any kind and unusual soiling must be reported to the host immediately. The guest is obliged to bear the costs for repair, replacement and additional cleaning. Billing is based on actual expenses and can be claimed via Airbnb. 13. Inaccessible areas/accident prevention: ------------------------------------- The stairs to the attic as well as the ladder or access to the roof must NOT be used. The attic and roof are not part of the rental property and are expressly OFF LIMITS to guests. There is a considerable risk of accidents. Entering is at your own risk and is prohibited. The host accepts no liability for accidents, damage or injury in the event of non-compliance. The guest is fully liable for personal injury and property damage as well as consequential costs. 14. Security: ------------------- Doors and windows must be closed when leaving the house. No changes to technical systems or fuses. Removing or bypassing barriers or signs is prohibited. Use of the sauna, fireplace, outdoor facilities and property is at your own risk. No liability is assumed for personal items. 15. Wi-Fi & technical facilities: ----------------------------------------------- Wi-Fi is intended for legal, normal use only. Illegal downloads or illegal activities are prohibited. NO liability is assumed for failures or restrictions by the Internet provider. 16. Nature & surroundings: ------------------------------ The surrounding nature must be treated with respect. No rubbish in the forest, by the river or on the property. Fishing only with a valid permit. Plants, animals and the environment must not be damaged. 17. Part of the contract: -------------------------------- These house rules are part of the rental agreement in accordance with Airbnb's terms and conditions. In the event of violations, additional costs, claims for damages or the immediate termination of the stay without reimbursement may occur.
