Wild Ivy House is a spacious four-bedroom house set on a quiet side of Vélez-Blanco. Two bedrooms offer stunning sunrise views over the surrounding mountains, while another overlooks the castle. The house features an evergreen patio garden and direct access to a peaceful park next door. Guests enjoy a comfortable salon and a fully equipped kitchen, creating a serene space for groups and families of 4–7 guests to rest, gather and explore the village, nearby nature and walking paths. The space Located on a quiet one-way pedestrian street in Vélez-Blanco, the house enjoys wide sunrise views over the valley and La Muela mountain while overlooking a peaceful park next door. The park features a year-round flowing stream with small cascading waterfalls and natural pools, tall trees and abundant wild ivy, as well as a circular walking path. The eastern side of the house includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms with balconies overlooking the valley and sunrise. A third spacious bedroom features a balcony facing the historic Convent of San Luis and the castle, offering views of several of the village’s most iconic landmarks. The house captures both sunrise and sunset, while the peaceful atmosphere can be enjoyed in the private evergreen patio garden with comfortable seating and a swing. Mediterranean herbs such as lavender, rosemary, sage, mint and thyme grow here, and both the house and garden are maintained according to organic and sustainable standards. Inside there is a spacious salon and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, with a dining area for four and the option of adding a larger table if needed. A wellness area with sauna and bubble jacuzzi is currently under construction and expected to open in autumn 2026. Natural light enters the interior through two skylights, and a small upper room opens onto a tiny terrace with wild ivy and planters, offering a quiet place to sit and relax. The house is also just a two-minute walk from the well-known El Palacil restaurant, famous for traditional local cuisine including lamb raised in the surrounding mountains. Guest access Guests are welcomed by the host in person and receive a set of keys, which are returned to a PIN keybox upon departure. Guests have access to the entire house, including the bedrooms, kitchen, salon and private patio garden, as well as the spaces described in the listing. For guests who arrive during the day, the host is also happy to recommend local highlights, the Vélez-Blanco circular walking route, and some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the surrounding mountains. Other things to note The house is perfectly located between village life and nature. A beautiful park with flowing water, small waterfalls and shaded paths begins right next to the house. A traditional wood-fired bakery can be reached in about 7 minutes through the park, and the well-known El Palacil restaurant is just 2 minutes away. The village gym is also a 2-minute walk and open to visitors for about €2 per session. In summer, a public swimming pool is open about 5 minutes away by car. The excellent local patisserie Hines & María is just 4 minutes away. Every Wednesday morning, the village hosts a fresh market with fruit, vegetables, cheeses and local meats. Several beautiful hiking routes start directly from the house, including a circular walk through a canyon, almond and olive groves with views of La Muela, the Sierra María–Los Vélez mountains and the castle. Hammocks are available for guests who wish to relax in the nearby park.
