Ardmore House is a beautiful cosy old Victorian villa, believed to have been built for a sea captain. We are located on the North Coast 500 touring route - in the north west highlands of Scotland - 1.5 miles from Lochinver, and 1.5 miles from Achmelvich beach. The house is tucked away up a private driveway, overlooking a tranquil wooded glen, with lots of parking space. Breakfast included - help yourself to home-made granola, yoghurt, fruit, home-made organic bread toasted, good coffee/tea etc. The space This guest bedroom has a luxury super-king sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, a cosy sofa, a sink with hot and cold water and beautiful views over the glen. The room has a private bathroom just adjacent and separate from the bedroom - the bathroom is not en-suite, but is for the private use of room 1. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and a bath with an electric shower over it, and has toiletries supplied. There is a downstairs lounge/dining room which is shared between the two guest rooms, and is used for breakfast on a morning, and also serves as a lounge, with a toasty wood burning stove, sofa, and lots of books to look at. Guest access Guests are welcome to use their reserved bedroom, plus there is a lovely guest lounge/dining room where breakfast is served, which is shared between the two guest bedrooms. There is also a table and chairs in the garden which guests are welcome to use. During your stay Me and my husband Trevor live in Ardmore House, in our own annexe, so we are usually on hand to make our guests' stay as comfortable as possible - just ask, and we'll help if we can! Having spent many years running our own tiny artisan bakeries in North Yorkshire, you will usually be able to find us in the kitchen, or outside, where we will be cultivating our little croft garden. Other things to note Both of our guest bedrooms are located up a flight of stairs, and the shared guest lounge/dining room is on the ground floor.
