The space Fancy a weekend in the countryside, a relaxing getaway, for one night or more, or even alone to reconnect with yourself? Welcome to our place, Le Cocon du Bois, a 2-star listed property, which is perfect for you! 30 minutes from Giverny and Claude Monet's house and gardens, 1 hour from Paris, 1 hour 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Normandy, the accommodation is separate from our house, with its own private garden and parking space (there is also free parking just a stone's throw away). Completely renovated in 2025, on the ground floor you will find: a small living room, a relaxation room with books and games, a living room with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, mini grill oven, cooktop, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, toaster, raclette machine) and dining room, with direct access to the garden where you will find a table and chairs, a grill (with utensils), and a shower room (towels and toiletries available, hairdryer, clothesline and clothespins) with toilet. Upstairs, there is a landing area and 2 bedrooms (interconnecting, separated by a door with a blind so that everyone has privacy): one with a double bed, the second with a double bed and a single bed (safety gates for the stairs, at the top and bottom), and children's games. A travel crib with mattress and duvet, a baby bath and a high chair are also available (to be specified when booking). To enjoy your stay to the fullest, you can order homemade brioche or bread, homemade yogurts, snacks, etc. A few coffee pods, tea and herbal teas are available. Bed linens, bathroom towels and kitchen towels are provided. No need to take the car to find walking trails: right outside the cocoon, you can access a forest path that leads you into the heart of nature, where children can run around freely. A simple and authentic atmosphere, designed for slowing down, breathing, feeling the earth and hearing the wind. 10 minutes from Évreux, where you will find restaurants and shops, mini-golf, tree climbing, and cultural tours. Several visits are available to you: the Gisacum Archaeological Garden, with entertainment, Claude Monet's House and Gardens in Giverny, a river cruise in La Bouille, the shops of Paris-Giverny 22 km away, a visit to Vernon and a gourmet break at the "Broc et Délices" tearoom, etc. You can consult the guide to outings in the listing.
