Cozy log cabin in popular Fryksås

Welcome to Sweden's oldest mountain pasture and our log cabin, Fryksås Chamber. Chamber is a beautiful timbered cottage of 50 sqm on two floors that in 2020 was moved from Älvdalen to the place it stands on today in Fryksås. The cottage is tastefully converted into a modern log cabin with a personal character. The space Chamber is located on the same property as our cottage Fryksås Chalet and shares parking, there is also a larger public parking just above the cottage. The cottage is perfect for the family or the smaller group but also as an extra cottage when booking the larger cottage Chalet. The cottage has amenities such as: - Kitchen with fridge and freezer, stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. - Dining area for 6 people with exit to the terrace - Bathroom with shower - Panoramic views of Lake Orsa - Cozy patio with outdoor furniture during the summer. Perfect for a barbecue! - Wi-Fi - Cozy little living room with a sofa and TV Entrance When you open the red front door to the lodge, you will be met by a real traditional log cabin. You come directly into the hall with a shoe shelf and hat shelf. From the hall, you reach the accommodation's bathroom on the left. The bathroom is charming and has both timber walls and tiles and clinkers. There's a shower. From the hall, you also have one of the accommodation's bedrooms and the kitchen with dining area and exit to the balcony. Bedroom 1 is a smaller room with a bunk bed (90 cm) Upstairs The stairs to the upper floor are steep. When you get upstairs, you will come straight into the living room where you will find a sofa and a smart TV and entrance to two bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed (90 cm) Bedroom 3 has a family bunk bed (90 cm and 120 cm) Guest access Own cottage Other things to note The cottage is a self-catering cottage so guests bring their own consumables such as toilet paper, spices, oil, baking paper, etc. Electric car: There is no electric car charging at the cottage and it is not allowed to charge from a regular electrical outlet. The nearest electric car charging station is in Grönklitt, 5 minutes away.
