Apartment "Landleben" on the farm Obernjesa

Lovingly & comfortably furnished apartment in a rural location with great transport links to Kassel, Göttingen & Hanover. The A7, A38 and B27 are each only 5 minutes away. Göttingen city center & the train station can be reached in a quarter of an hour. Cyclists get their money's worth on the Leine-Heide cycle path, as it leads directly past our farm. We are a seven-member patchwork family with some cattle, live & work on our farm & look forward to seeing you soon! The space The cozily furnished apartment, completely renovated in 2019, is located in the small village of Obernjesa, about 10 km away from Göttingen. The well-equipped accommodation on the second floor offers a small bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm), wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV on approx. 50 square meters. The cozy kitchen-living room with dining area by the window, a fully equipped kitchenette, TV and a cozy sofa bed, which can be additionally made up for one or two people (90 x 200 cm or 180 x 200 cm with slatted base) offers the opportunity to cook, sit together and stay overnight. The spacious bathroom has a sink, toilet and a walk-in shower (90 × 120 cm). The apartment is rounded off by a spacious hallway with an antique chest of drawers and wardrobe. Coffee and a selection of tea are always available to our guests free of charge. There is also a small selection of cold drinks for a small fee. If my chickens are very busy, there are fresh eggs as a small greeting from the house. By arrangement, a washer and dryer can be used in our laundry. We are also happy to lend our bikes for tours in the area. Parking is ample and bicycles and/or strollers brought along will also find a safe haven with us. In summer, our front garden invites you to end the day with a glass of wine or beer. Take a seat in our beach chair and enjoy the evening sun. We are also happy to provide our gas grill, so nothing stands in the way of a delicious barbecue evening. Our little guests are certainly curious about our animals. They are welcome to accompany us to the chickens, feed them and collect the eggs. Our ponies Paul and Ivan are looking forward to petting units or a delicious carrot, the guinea pigs to fresh dandelions and our terrier team Eddie and Koko to persistent game throwers. Our mini pigs Rosi and Tobi are particularly cute, but they are no longer so "mini" ;-)! A large trampoline can be used under parental supervision, but also some toys, such as balls, badminton sets, crayons, board games, books for all ages, children's toys and a really cool kettle car (also suitable for adults ;-) ). We look forward to welcoming business travelers, vacationers, solo travelers, couples and families with children. Other things to note Since we have a farm, there is a hustle and bustle on our farm depending on the season. In summer and early autumn, it is high season for us and therefore the days are quite long. So sometimes at unsociable times of the day, you might hear the rumble of a tractor with a trailer, heavy machinery or even the combine harvester across the yard ;-) ! There are also days throughout the year that start very early and/or end late. But maybe this also gives some people an interesting insight into our profession or everyday life. What we unfortunately can never stop or change is the location of our farm on a main freight line of Deutsche Bahn :-( ! The rest of the farm offers good noise protection, but if you are used to sleeping at night with the window open and in absolute silence, you may not find peace with us ;-)! The "country life" apartment is completely located on the side facing away from the yard and train and thus train and agricultural noise is almost completely no longer audible.
