Pleasantville in Historic Woodstock
Description
Quaint cottage-style home in the heart of Woodstock! Walking distance from the square, experience all the joys this town has to offer. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun on the back porch, or grab a drink at one of the local eateries. There is a living room, a full kitchen, full bath, and two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. PLEASE NOTE: The bedroom and bathrooms are located on the second floor. The home was built in 1932, so it has some quirks. No parties. This is a family home. The space My home is a historic Sears catalog home located blocks away from the Woodstock square. It’s perfect for those looking from a retreat from the city, or a place to stay while popping into town. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The bedrooms and bathroom are both located on the second floor. The shower has a slanted ceiling due to the design of the home, tall guests keep this in mind. I’m 5’11 and have no problem showering with a lean. There is a smart TV located in the main bedroom, logins are not provided but Wi-Fi will be connected to use. The basement and garage will not be accessible. Lastly, I ask that you enjoy my space and treat it like your own! This home has brought me so much joy and I’m grateful to share it with you. Please note the bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor. My home is 90 years old. Guest access The whole home is yours to enjoy! The bedroom is well equipped with pillows and blankets, a writers desk, and a closet to hang any clothes you may need too. The second room is currently set up as an office space. The bathroom has a full shower, but be mindful of the ceiling! It’s a bit short for our taker guests. We have a blow dryer but you will need to plug it in in the office if you would like to use it. We provide all things coffee and tea! There is a standard coffee maker, a gooseneck tea kettle, a coffee grinder, and single cup drip coffee ☕️ We have sweetener and half and half too. There will be spices in the cabinets for your use if you would like to cook. The pots and pans are located in the bottom right cabinets next to the oven. Other things to note The front door can be a bit wonky at times, so I ask that you enter and exit the side door, and please leave your shoes in the breakfast nook! If you’re staying with us in the winter, we provide a key to the front door so you don’t have to trudge through the snow. PLEASE NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE. The whole was built in the 1930s and can get chilly so we will provide space heaters for extra comfort.
