Fjordgård is situated on the island of Senja, often referred to as “Norway in miniature” due to its diverse and spectacular landscapes. Fjordgård offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, including fishing, hiking, nature exploration, ski touring (randonnée), skiing, northern lights (aurora borealis), or simply a peaceful escape from everyday life. The area provides excellent opportunities for relaxation and recreation, whether you are traveling alone or as a group. Using the house as your base, most – if not all – parts of Senja can be reached within a day by car. Whether you stay for one night or several, we highly recommend exploring the nearby mountains. Well-marked hiking trails lead all the way to the summits of Segla, Barden, and Hesten. Segla, rising 639 meters above sea level, is the area’s main attraction and a well-known landmark, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable nature experiences. The house is ideal for tourists, families, groups of friends, or colleagues. It is compact yet charming, featuring a cozy retro style that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
