Semi-detached house

We let natural stone, wood, Mexican ceramics and handmade tiles sublimate into a unique style. The house set in the beautiful landscape of the Všeruby Pass, in the middle of fields and forests, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is a place where you can come up with other ideas. The space The house is part of a semi-detached house, has a separate entrance, land and driveway with a remote-controlled gate. For the most part, it consists of a new extension on the site of the original barn, part of which also extends into the original building from 1908. The total floor area is approximately 180 m². On the ground floor there is a generously designed social space with a tiled stove, two dining tables, a cozy sitting area, a private bar with a tap, a library and two separate toilets. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, which can comfortably accommodate 11, and with a little modesty up to 13-14 people. Guest access The entire house with a grass terrace and an adjacent garden with a separate entrance are available to guests. Other things to note The house in a semi-secluded location in Studánky provides accommodation for 1 to 13-14 people in 4 bedrooms. Bedrooms and rooms Atrium (a total of 6 windows, one of which is French overlooking the garden): 1 double bed 160 cm wide for 2 people. Large room: 2 x double beds 160 cm wide, 1 x sofa bed, total for 4 - 6 people. Guest room: 1 x double bed 160 cm wide, 1x French bed 120 cm wide for 3 - 4 people. Small room: 1 x double bed 160 cm wide for 2 people. Sanitary facilities On the first floor there are two bathrooms, each with one toilet and a shower. There are two separate toilets on the ground floor. Heating The common areas are heated in a tiled stove, which is equipped with a high-quality Hoxter & Haka insert. Its performance is sufficient for thermal comfort throughout the building. Heating on the 1st floor is partly provided by hot air distribution from the furnace, but it is good to leave the doors to the rooms open during the day to warm up. We'll take care of the wood. You can also use the infrared heaters that are in each bedroom. Hot water heating is provided by two boilers with a total capacity of 150 l. Transport, parking Parking on a fenced plot for 3 - 4 cars + 1 in front of the gate. Catering There is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and sous-vide machine. Water: it is from our own well, harmless to health but slightly ferrous, and even if it passes through a special filter, it still retains a ferrous aroma and taste - therefore it is not suitable for drinking for most people. If it is not dry, very tasty spring well water flows in the kitchen. Trips, attractions, entertainment Summer sports: the surrounding landscape encourages walks, bike trips, there are a number of tourist destinations in the area. Unusual swimming opportunities are in nearby Lomeček (a natural quarry with a deep observation deck) or in Straubing, Germany, where there is a complex of lakes with exceptionally clean water, beaches and a wakeboard track. Winter sports: nearby is the German Hohen Bogen (about 20 minutes by car), which offers activities especially for beginners and intermediate skiers. A little further is the popular Špičák near Železná Ruda and the German Javor - Grosser Arber (both about 40 min), where even the most demanding skiers will enjoy themselves. From other destinations we can name only at random: the church of St. Wenceslas in Brůdek near Všeruby from 1040, the pilgrimage church of St. Anna and the Tanaberk lookout, the historical center of Domažlice, Chodský Castle and the Chodsko Museum in Domažlice, the ossuary in Klatovy, Poběžovice Castle, the Nová Ves lookout tower near Kdyně, the ruins of Rýzmberk Castle near Kdyně, Klenová Castle and Castle, the church of St. Lawrence near Domažlice, etc.
