Nugget & Brumby’s Tiny Caravan is an off-grid retreat on 83 acres of peaceful box-gum woodlands between Bungendore and Braidwood. Lovingly built with reclaimed materials and surrounded by wildlife, it’s a cosy hideaway for two. Wake to birdsong, wander kangaroo trails, write on the deck, or soak in a hot outdoor bath under the stars. With solar power, an outdoor kitchen, a composting toilet, rainwater and a private outdoor shower, your stay is gentle on the earth while still offering comfort. The space Nugget & Brumby’s Tiny Caravan is a cosy off-grid hideaway designed for one or two guests. Inside you’ll find a comfortable double bed, a small kitchenette for heating water or simple prep, a fridge and a gas heater to keep you warm. A private composting toilet is a stones throw away from the caravan, with a hot water outdoor shower and bathroom adjoining the caravan and nestled among the trees. The massive deck features an outdoor kitchen with gas cookers, a BBQ and seating for slow meals overlooking the bush. An outdoor bath offers a peaceful spot to soak under the stars. The caravan sits on 83 acres of native woodland, giving you plenty of space to explore and unwind. With two spring fed dams, take a dip and enjoy the frog calls and birdlife. Guest access Guests have private access to the tiny caravan, outdoor kitchen, deck, composting toilet, outdoor shower and the bushland immediately surrounding the site. You’re welcome to wander the kangaroo trails and explore the property’s open woodlands, gullies and springs. Laundry facilities are available, and parking is provided at the listing. Please note the property is fully off-grid, powered by solar and supplied by rainwater. Other things to note This is an off-grid experience designed for slow, mindful living. Water and power are limited resources, so we ask guests to use both thoughtfully. Please do all cooking outdoors, follow fire restrictions, and treat wildlife and the ecosystem with care. The access road is unsealed and can be slippery when wet; 2WD is fine in normal conditions, though 4WD is recommended. Phone reception is limited, but Starlink Wi-Fi is available. Dogs are welcome on leash—please keep them close due to wildlife and never allow pets on the bed.
