Shulista Croft Longhouse. A modern take on a traditional Croft Longhouse. Exclusively for Adult couples only. Sitting in its own stone walled garden area, with far reaching views to the sea and the Trotternish Ridge. Located in the centre of our working croft, this romantic retreat offers a secluded escape, surrounded by nature, walks and sunsets. The Longhouse has a bedroom, shower room, well equipped kitchen and lounge with floor to ceiling glass windows to make the most of the views. The space This luxury converted shipping container is the perfect getaway on the Isle of Skye. Located within its own walled garden with gated access, the Longhouse has been thoughtfully positioned to provide a private spot to relax and take in the far reaching views across the far north of the Isle of Skye. The Longhouse has been designed with comfort in mind. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood in, and make the most of the views. The Living room has a Smart HD Samsung TV, WIFI (4G signal), a Bluetooth speaker, and a large, comfy sofa to relax on. We provide reading books, including guide books about the Isle of Skye, so you can plan your adventures from the comfort of your living room. There is a hanging area for coats and a shelf for boots. The Kitchen is very well equipped for all your cooking needs. There is a Microwave, fridge, double induction hob, Air Fryer, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, mugs, glasses, crockery and cutlery.. There is a breakfast bar with sheepskin-covered stools. The kitchen is a light and bright area.. We provide a welcome hamper of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The bedroom has a beautiful double bed with luxury bedding and cushions. There is a hanging rail for clothes and two bedside tables with lamps. The shower room has a rainforest shower and separate shower head. There are luxury bathrobes provided, together with soft, cotton bath towels, a bath mat and hand towel. There are toiletries provided. Outside your Longhouse, there is a sheltered entrance. Two Adirondack chairs, a picnic table & a firepit ensure cosy evening outside, stargazing if the skies are clear! There area electric heaters throughout the Longhouse and we also provide a bladeless hot and cool heater. Guest access The Longhouse is a luxurious space for Adult Couples only. Located thoughtfully within its own gated garden ground. A picnic table and a private firepit are right outside in a gravelled patio area. Two Adirondack chairs ensure outdoor comfort whilst cooking outdoors! We do not accommodate children, infants or babies. The Longhouse has been thoughtfully positioned to give our guests privacy, surrounded by nature. Incredible views to the sea and across croft fields to the Trotternish Ridge, mean that this really is the perfect haven to unwind. There is a small turning area & parking space right next to the Longhouse, ensuring easy access. Other things to note Walk back along the Shulista Road, along the path through our croft land, to the incredible sea views at Rubha Hunish (the very Northern Tip of Skye!). Experience the history of Skye at the ruins of Duntulm Castle & the Musum of Island Life. The area along the coast here offers amazing sunset views and the chance to walk in the footprints of Dinosaurs! There are also some lovely options for eating out locally.
