Helmer House

The Helmer house was built in 1907 and has been completely renovated but has still preserved the timber, the soul as well. The rooms are small and the floor and stairs creak. The trees in the garden have guarded the house for over a hundred years. The space Helmer House is strategically located in the middle of Lofoten, and in the middle of Vestvågøy. The bus stop along the E10 is 200 meters down the road. The Viking Museum is a few minutes away by foot. Unstad beach, known for surfing, is a twelve-minute drive away. The famous place for midnight sun views Eggum is a few minutes drive away. Nearby there is a colonial shop and kiosk/cafe. Leknes trading post is 12 km away and the Hurtigruten dock is 20 min away. I have a sunny veranda and a large parking space. Guest access Guests will be able to enjoy all amenities. During your stay Daily I live in the house myself so you will usually meet me occasionally. I will as much as possible be helpful with information and good tips. Other things to note Final cleaning of rooms, bed linens and towels are included in the price. You can borrow a washing machine if you book three nights or more. Please remove the bed linen from the beds before departure. The room is divided into two sections and has two single beds. Please note that I have a cat, he is very cute but he sheds a lot of cat hair that must be tolerated if you want to stay with me, and he likes to lie on the sofa. He is not allowed into the attic or the bedrooms.
