Whether you are a tribe of hikers, a group of friends or a large family looking for serenity, this house offers you a relaxing setting combining comfort and breathtaking views of the mountains. 🏡 The house Spacious, friendly and warm, it can accommodate up to 10 people with its 4 bedrooms. For this 4-traveler package, you can comfortably enjoy 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms. The other rooms are simply closed to adapt the house to the size of the group, while guaranteeing you complete privacy of the place. On the ground floor: • 3 double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. 2 of these rooms have a balcony with a view. Under the roofs (mezzanine): • 1 bedroom with 4 single beds, also equipped with its own private bathroom Upstairs: • A living room with library area • A friendly dining room • Fully equipped kitchen • A self-catering toilet • Two balconies with unobstructed mountain views • A mezzanine with a relaxing lounge area, sofa and hammock for reading, dreaming or simply contemplating 🌿 The exteriors A 35 m² panoramic terrace with barbecue allows you to share meals facing the mountains, lulled by the birdsong. 🧖‍♀️ The Wellness Area – Relaxation & Recovery in the heart of nature After a hike in the Mercantour or a day of activities in the Roya Valley, it's time to recharge your batteries. 🔥 4-seater infrared sauna with mountain view Sit in front of the peaks and let the gentle warmth of the infrared sauna envelop your body. Session: €10 per person (minimum 2 people) 💆‍♀️ Nature immersion massage By reservation (minimum 24 hours in advance), treat yourself to a moment of total relaxation. A relaxing, deep or draining massage in an exceptional natural setting. 🦵 Pressotherapy – Muscle recovery For athletes and hikers, we also offer pressotherapy sessions with professional JOLT boots. 🌿 Exceptional natural surroundings Located at the gates of Mercantour National Park, the house enjoys a preserved environment with remarkable fauna and flora. Hikes depart directly from the hamlet of Berghe, including: • The Cime de Corvo (4h – 670 m elevation gain) • The Gauron Tour (5h – 770 m D+) A library is at your disposal with hiking guides, detailed maps, books on fauna and flora and documentation on local activities. 🏔 A valley with many faces The Roya Valley, at the gates of Italy and Mercantour, offers a wide range of activities. Sensations & sport: Canyoning, rafting, paragliding, via ferrata, mountain biking, horseback riding and of course varied hikes. Culture & Heritage: Saorge Monastery, Notre-Dame-des-Fontaines Chapel in La Brigue, Museum of Wonders in Tende, medieval villages and Alpine traditions. Swimming & coolness: • Rivers: The Bendola is 20 min by car. • The Mediterranean Sea is about 1 hour away (Ventimiglia or Menton). We will be happy to advise you and share our best addresses to make your stay an unforgettable experience. Guest access The house is fully privatized for your group and you enjoy the exclusivity of the living spaces: living room, dining room, equipped kitchen, relaxing mezzanine and balconies. Each room has its own private bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy. The number of accessible rooms depends on the package booked (2, 3 or 4 rooms). Unused rooms are simply closed to adapt the house to the size of the group. If you would like more rooms than those included in your package, please let us know before booking so that we can offer you the most suitable configuration. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. A starter kit is also available: toilet paper, dish towels, sponges, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets and basic condiments, to settle in peacefully as soon as you arrive. 🌿 Terrace The panoramic terrace with barbecue is generally private, ideal for sharing your meals facing the mountains. Occasionally, a few passing hikers may make a friendly stop and enjoy the refreshments we offer. 🌰 Local products As chestnut producers, we also provide you with local and organic chestnut-based products (cream, puree, sweets, pasta and flour), true flavors of the Roya Valley. The chestnut heritage, the wealth of the valley, is for us a resource that we love to promote through gourmet recipes. We also offer homemade jams with fruit from the orchard for your breakfasts. 🧖‍♀️ Wellness Area To extend your relaxing stay, the wellness area is accessible by reservation and includes: - Infrared sauna Great for: • Relax the muscles • Relieve tension • Promote the elimination of toxins and recovery • Stimulate circulation - Massages in the midst of nature A relaxing, deep or draining massage in an exceptional natural setting. - JOLT pressotherapy for muscle recovery and lymphatic drainage JOLT technology uses a sequential air compression system that stimulates lymphatic drainage and blood circulation. Other things to note To reach the preserved hamlet of Berghe, you will take a narrow and winding mountain road of 5 km, which climbs gently over about 500 m of elevation from Fontan. This gradual ascent offers you increasingly spectacular panoramic views as you get closer. The road is fully paved and accessible to any type of vehicle, no 4x4 is necessary. It's a unique, two-way street. Arriving in Berghe means accessing a quiet and confidential corner of paradise: a hamlet of only 4 permanent inhabitants, where silence, nature and calm are guaranteed. The nearest shops are 15 minutes away by car, which preserves the authenticity and serenity of the place. In short, a little effort on the road, largely rewarded by the unique and peaceful experience that awaits you on arrival.
