Sarramea Jungle Retreat

Welcome to our little piece of heaven, in the heart of birdsong! Our house welcomes you for a relaxing stay 10 minutes from the center of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. The centerpiece of the house is the large, friendly kitchen, bathed in light, with its bay window opening onto the landscape. We renovated this house in our image: bucolic, playful, healthy, gourmet and warm, focusing on natural materials, large volumes and the link with the outside. The space The house is 160 m² and consists of the following: - 6 bedrooms (large and comfortable) - 2 bathrooms (shower + toilet and one bathtub with shower) - Toilet on each floor Ideal capacity: 10 people (possibility + with sofa beds) Room Division: - 1 bedroom on the garden level, very quiet, overlooking the vegetable garden - 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, close to the bathrooms - 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, the children's floor, with sink and toilet NOTE: In winter, we heat exclusively with wood! Stove in the living room and wood boiler in the garage (radiators throughout the house except the living room). It is therefore necessary to provide a little wood handling (we leave a stock of wood and firelighters ready for use upon your arrival) and fire maintenance: an experience that is part of the art of living of the place. Our house is located less than 10 minutes by car from the city center of Bagnères-de-Bigorre, at the end of a small road that runs along the stream in an enchanted valley. The house is located at the end of a small mountain road, along a stream, in a very quiet and green valley. The city center of Bagnères-de-Bigorre is less than 10 minutes by car and you will find everything you need: organic store, supermarkets, cinema, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes and bars and especially the Saturday market not to be missed!! A quick look at the amenities that can make a difference: children's games, ping pong table, badminton, walks, board games, costumes, etc. Fiber optic Internet, DVD, TV, traditional oven, 5-burner gas stove, etc. Guest access You have access to the whole house as well as the laundry room and up to the garage where the wood boiler is located. We ask that you not use the objects in the workshop and in the garage (although you have to go there to feed the wood boiler). We may have to come to the adjoining barn from time to time, but it is completely separate from the house and we are very discreet. Other things to note The house is equipped with common cleaning products, soaps, shower gel, dishwashing liquid, etc., as well as toilet paper, dish towels, etc. The site does not allow these "basic products" to be distinguished from sheets and towels. We can help out with sheets and towels if you're not able to bring them, but given the number of beds, we'd appreciate it if you could bring them if possible. Thank you for your understanding.
