Perched on a gentle ridge, Aram Shanti offers breathtaking 360-degree views across rolling green pastures to Mt Cooroy and Mt Coorora, with spectacular sunrises, sunsets and star-filled night skies. The space The Space Your accommodation is a beautifully appointed, spacious, air-conditioned studio, designed for comfort, privacy and peace. • Elegant contemporary studio with Balinese-style teak furniture • Luxurious queen bed with quality linen • Lounge, dining area and high ceilings with abundant natural light • Well equipped kitchen with fridge, hotplate, microwave, air fryer/oven, toaster, sandwich maker, rice cooker, stick blender and cooking essentials • Bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet (septic system) • Opens onto a large private patio • Enclosed garden outlook with a sitting area beneath a magnificent poinciana tree All linen is supplied, along with toiletries, tea & coffee, milk and soy milk. A welcome basket with fresh herbs and eggs from the property, when available, is complimentary. Drinking water is collected rainwater (guests may bring bottled water if preferred). Please note washing machine is not provided. A Garden Sanctuary The property is surrounded by beautiful, lovingly tended tropical gardens, fruit trees, dams and a flowing creek, creating an atmosphere similar to a quiet spiritual retreat. Many guests comment on the sense of calm that naturally arises here — a place that gently invites you to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself and nature. Whether you wish to wander the gardens around the studio, sit beneath the large poinciana tree, practise meditation, journal, read, or simply be still, Aram Shanti offers space for reflection, renewal and inspiration. A Place to Unplug There is no TV in the studio, offering an opportunity for intentional, screen-free time. Mobile reception is good for those who need it. Guest wi-fi is available. Guests are invited to arrive as they are — and leave feeling rested, nourished and quietly restored. Guest access Guests have access to the immediate area comprising the entrance to the studio and to the gardens off the patio as well as the relaxing seating area under the large poinciana tree and the small fire pit under the tree. For guests with a caravan or camper van, there is room to park your vehicle and caravan in an easy access area near a large shed. Vehicular access throughout the property is easy. Guests can park their car in the parking spot near the studio or park under a large poinciana tree on the driveway within easy access to the studio. Other things to note House Rules “Aram Shanti” is a place of peace, respect and gentle living. Thank you for helping to maintain this environment. • Strictly adults only: Maximum 3 adults. The property is not suitable for children. • Strictly no shoes inside: Please remove shoes before entering the studio for deep-seated hygiene (avoiding tracking in street grime and unwanted negative energies), and as a sign of respect for the home and its inhabitants. • Peaceful environment: Please respect the tranquillity of the property, especially in the evenings. • Strictly no pets: Aram Shanti is a private animal and wildlife sanctuary. • No parties. Enjoy yourself. Aram Shanti is about peace and quiet. • Fire pit use: Allowed when conditions are safe and in accordance with local fire restrictions. Firewood is provided. • Septic system: Please flush only toilet paper (no tissues or other items or products). If you are heavy handed with toilet paper, flush in between usage so as not to block the toilet. • Water: The property is on rainwater; be respectful of water usage. A Stefani water filter is provided but you may wish to boil your drinking water or bring your own bottled water. • Sustainability: The property operates on permaculture and other ecological principles. Please be respectful of gardens, wildlife and natural spaces. • Smoking: Not permitted inside the studio. If smoking outside the studio, please dispose of cigarette butts in the bins near the carport/garden shed. • No recreational drugs: Anyone who is inebriated or high on drugs will be asked to leave. • Insect & security screens: Please keep these closed at all times: Aram Shanti is a rural property. There are snakes, goannas, possums, antechinus (marsupial rats) and other creatures that also live here and would love to move in. • Indoor vertical blinds: Please do not lean anything against the screens as they crease and damage easily. • Rubbish: Out of respect, upon leaving please place your rubbish in the bins near the garden shed. Yellow for recycling and green for general rubbish. • Vacating: Out of respect, please wash used dishes, give the benches a quick wipe over, and leave the place tidy. No need to strip the bed. • Departure time: Please ensure you adhere to the 11am departure time. Thank you. • Arrival time: Please ensure you arrive during daylight hours. Guests are welcome to enjoy their own private space or connect with the host if they wish — interaction is always optional and guided by your comfort.
