Isikkivik - a warm place in a cool country

A charming house with an amazing picture-window view of a fjord filled with icebergs. The perfect nest for two people. Full kitchen, bedroom with rooftop window, fold-out couch & table in front room. Bathroom has a composting toilet and no shower. The space Quiet, private location, right at the foot of a mountain. The house is perched on a hill at the edge of town, yet it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the supermarkets, café or restaurant. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house. Other things to note During the summer there are direct flights with Icelandair from Reykjavik to the new airport in Qaqortoq (approx. 40 km from Narsaq). You can travel From Qaqortoq to Narsaq either by helicopter (Air Greenland) or by boat (Disko Line). You can also fly with Air Greenland from Copenhagen to Nuuk. There are five flights a week. From Nuuk you can take the coastal boat (Arctic Umiaq Line) directly to Narsaq or book a flight with Air Greenland to Qaqortoq. It pays to plan ahead and book your trip well in advance. Airlines offer a certain limited number of seats at reduced fares.
