"Chata pod Szczeblem" is a wonderful, wooden house (180m2!) in the Zakopane style, built of logs thatched with straw. From the threshold you can smell the authentic, highlander cottage. The space We offer you this homely and stylish house built by Podhale carpenters in 1998 with an area of 180 m2. The house is located on the outskirts of the village of Tenczyn on the slope of Mount Szczebel. We bought it from the first owner, a passionate man, in 2012 and until October 2019 we used it only for private purposes. Unfortunately, we now have much less time to enjoy its benefits and that is why we have decided to make it available to others. The house is great for a family holiday or a holiday with friends, a place for remote work, as well as a training base for ultra runners. On the ground floor there is a large living room, including a table and benches for 10-12 people, and a kitchen with everything that should be in a standard kitchen, except for a dishwasher. However, there is an air-fryer, a microwave and a coffee machine. In the living room there is a TV with a terrestrial decoder and an Apple TV, from which the HDMI plug can be unplugged and connected to your laptop to play on the TV. There is also a Philips tower as old as the cottage, to which a Logitech Bluetooth adapter is connected. So you can connect to it with your phone and play music from your phone on the tower. Or unplug the mini-jack plug from it and plug it into the TV so that the TV sound comes from the tower. There are a total of 5 bedrooms on two floors, each with a double mattress. There is a sofa bed on the ground floor, so basically you can accommodate more than 10 people. From the living room there is an exit to a newly renovated large terrace (almost 20 m2) surrounded on all sides by trees, shaded on three sides by trees and equipped with an awning across the entire width. On the terrace there is garden furniture and a barbecue (it is worth bringing your own charcoal and kindling, you can buy it on site). On the 15-acre plot there are many trees and plenty of space in the garden, and in it a place for a bonfire, (wood is always available to guests) hammocks and a trampoline. The water comes from a high intake on Szczebel, so you can drink it straight from the tap and see that it is the best water you have ever drunk! Wi-Fi is from a router connected to the 5G network. Note - this is not another claustrophobic cottage where there is nowhere to feast, built for tourists and finished poorly DIY. It is also not a modern or luxurious house, so we discourage those looking for it. However, it is certainly a spacious and comfortable house with the atmosphere of an authentic highlander cottage and we cordially invite amateurs of such impressions! Guest access The entire property is at your disposal. Other things to note There is no central heating in the two bedrooms on the top floor. So far, when the house was heated, even in winter there was no need to reheat these rooms. However, if someone is too cold, they will have a portable electric heater in each of these rooms. In these rooms, the only lighting is night lights. There is a dresser in only one bedroom. The other rooms have only mattresses. Four more chests of drawers are located in the corridor on the first floor (see one of the photos). Unfortunately, for technical reasons, there is no dishwasher. Hot water is from a gas stove, so there is enough hot water for everyone. The tap water is from the intake on the slope of Szczebel, so there are practically no restrictions and you can drink it without boiling - it is great! The area is fenced, so dogs can be left outside (except for outstanding fugitives, because the fence on a certain section is only three boards nailed to the beam). Up to 4 cars can park one after the other on the property. But by the road above the plot, you can also park on the grass. TV with terrestrial decoder. For weekend rentals from Saturday to Sunday: if you want to arrive on Saturday morning and leave on Sunday evening, we can arrange that you book from Friday and we block the reservation for Sunday for free if it is available (of course, we will agree on this each time before booking). Other combinations of this kind are possible - please write. The house can accommodate more than 10 people. In addition to 5 bedrooms with large double mattresses, which can fit 3 people tightly, there is also a sofa downstairs. Therefore, it is possible to arrange for a larger number of people for an additional fee determined each time in the special offer mode. However, please note that there are no extra bed linen or towels for people over 10.
