"Chata pod Szczeblem" is a wonderful wooden house (180 sqm!) in the Zakopane style, built of straw logs. From the doorstep, there is the smell of an authentic, highlander hut. The space We offer you this cozy and stylish house built by Podhale carpenters in 1998 with an area of 180 m2. The house is located on the edge of the village of Tenczyn on the slope of Szczebel mountain. We bought it from the first guest owner in 2012, and until October 2019, we only used it for private purposes. Unfortunately, we now have much less time to enjoy their benefits, so we decided to make it available to others. The home is great for atmospheric family holidays or friends, a place to work remotely, as well as a training base for ultra runners. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a table and benches for 10-12 people, and a kitchen with everything that a standard kitchen should have, except for a dishwasher. There is, however, an air-fryer, a microwave and a coffee machine. In the living room, there is a TV with a terrestrial decoder and Apple TV, from which the HDMI plug can be unplugged and connected to your laptop to play on the TV. It is also as old as the Philips Tower Cottage, to which the Logitech Bluetooth adapter is connected. So you can connect to it with your phone and play music from your phone on the tower. Or unplug the mini-jack and plug it into the TV so that the TV sound comes from the tower. There are 5 bedrooms on two floors, and each has a double mattress. There is a sofa bed on the ground floor, so you can basically accommodate more than 10 people. From the living room, there is an exit to a large, freshly renovated terrace (almost 20 m2), surrounded on all sides by trees, shaded on three sides by trees and equipped with an awning along its entire width. On the terrace, there is garden furniture and a barbecue (it is worth bringing your charcoal and firewood, you can buy it on site). On a 15-acre plot there are many trees and plenty of space in the garden, and in it a place for a bonfire, (wood is always available to guests) hammocks and a trampoline. The water comes from a high intake on Szczebel, so you can drink it straight from the tap and see that it is the best water you have ever drunk! WIFI is from a router connected to a 5G network. Note - this is not another claustrophobic cottage, where there is nowhere to feast, built for tourists and finished poorly DIY. It is also not a modern or luxurious house, so we discourage people looking for it. However, it is certainly a spacious and comfortable house with the atmosphere of an authentic highlander cottage and we cordially invite amateurs of such experiences! Guest access The entire property is at the disposal of guests. Other things to note There is no central heating in the two bedrooms on the top floor. So far when the house was heated, there was no need to heat these rooms even in the winter. However, if someone is too cold, they will have a portable electric heater in each of these rooms. The only lighting in these rooms is bedside lamps. Only one bedroom has a dresser. There are only mattresses in the other rooms. Four more dressers are in the hallway on the first floor (you can see in one of the photos). Unfortunately, there is no dishwasher for technical reasons. The hot water is from the gas stove so hot water is enough for everyone. The tap water is from the intake on the slope of Szczebel, so there are practically no restrictions and you can drink it without boiling - it is wonderful! The area is fenced, so dogs can be left outside (in addition to outstanding refugees, because the fence on a certain section is only three boards nailed to the beam). The property can park one behind the other up to 4 cars. But you can also park on the lawn on the road above the lot. TV from a terrestrial decoder. For renters for the weekend from Saturday to Sunday: If you want to arrive as early as Saturday morning, and don't leave until Sunday night, we can arrange that you're booking from Friday, and we're blocking the reservation for Sunday for free if it's free (of course, let's coordinate each time before booking). Other combinations of this type are possible - please write. The house can accommodate more than 10 people. In addition to the 5 bedrooms with large double mattresses that can fit 3 people tightly, there is a couch downstairs. Therefore, it is possible to schedule more people for an additional fee each time in the special offer mode. However, please note that for people over 10, there are no extra linens or towels.
