We take great care of our guests, and we would also welcome any courteous, non violent, and polite guests. Our family develop a warm and welcoming culture. If you are interested, we recommend communicating and booking early, as we request every guest not to rush us especially for the first time booking. G-Hive is our family-based home that also offers accommodation, entrepreneurship mentorship, food services, travel assistance, and training to support local & international community development. Ask host for access to the G-Hive learning centre. Before You Book Please read all guest information carefully. Don’t treat G-Hive like ordinary hotel. As it is a home and education initiative aimed at supporting community development and alleviating urban family poverty. We welcome family, friends, and new guests who share our values. Guest Requirements: To ensure safety for our household (including our young children), we ask all guests to: • Introduce yourself and reason of staying through Airbnb message • Valid photo ID (or a university/work profile) must be sent to the Airbnb message platform • Full name and affiliated organisation/university (no anonymous or incognito stays) • Advance notice if you require an additional bed beyond the standard double bed provided Our No-Show Policy Please note that a non-arrival or late cancellation does not mean the host receives free profit. When you book through Airbnb, we immediately secure the room, schedule our cleaning team, and cover fixed utility costs for your dates. Because these operational expenses are paid regardless of occupancy, refunds cannot be issued for no-shows. Bathrooms & Kitchen • Main shared bathroom & shower upstairs. • Shared living room integrated with Kitchen and Ground-floor toilet (no shower, Woman toilet) near entrance on the right hand side. • Please help each other keep them clean. 👣 House Rules • No shoes indoors for cleanliness. As we are a family house we are not providing hotel sleepers. • Keep noise low, especially at night. 🚗 Parking • 2 spaces on our private driveway. • If full, park partially on our private roadside, but never in front of a neighbour’s house. 🧺 Self-service washing and Drying • Washing machine available at the house, • Drying machine at 21 squires way (call for guidance and £5 additional cost). • Alternatively there is laundry service centre at Cannon park nearby. During your stay The house is hosted by International academician, teacher, and social entrepreneur and we are experienced host in terms of hospitality, and travel. We will welcome you, and make best effort to maintain your comfort, keep you safe and have comfortable sleep. If at times we may not be able to provide your our best service due to family and personal issue we ask you apologise. Our G-Hive rooms are popular and we have hosted family, friends, relatives, visitors, students and learners from any background: from tourists, artists, academicians, medics, researchers, students, and entrepreneurs from around the world. We are more than happy to have a chat and give any help if needed :) Please inform us if you have any requests. My family, we are international chefs, we were trained at Asburton Cookery Club in Devon and got some training in several Thai resto, Japanese, Pakistani, Indian, Middle-Eastern, Turkish, and Italian restaurant in Manchester (UK) and Jakarta (Indonesia)! You could ask for a special Asian breakfast or dinner , and even dessert for just a few pounds! Other things to note 🏡 Key Information • 6 bedroom family home in a safe, quiet area. Our family living depends on this • The design, amenities and features of the house and the room may slightly changes because of seasons, redecoration, or replacement • House is shared with our family especially children, we live on the first floor, and occasional kid noise is normal • Family-friendly atmosphere, but not suitable for guests who dislike children or want total isolation • We normally ask guests not to use the sofa bed without the mattress protector and bedding, as this helps the guest to get comfortable rest, keep it clean, hygienic, and in good condition for future guests.
