The Calistoga Inn was built in 1887, and has been owned by a mother and son duo since 1989. The Inn has undergone a renovation that has brought it into the modern era. Our Cottage offers en suite bathroom, as well as a TV with cable and air conditioning. Have a house-crafted beer at one of our three bars, and dine with us in our newly upgraded dining room or our main patio, which offers the best al fresco dining experience in the Napa Valley with Live Music nightly (May-Oct). Conveniently located on Lincoln Avenue, the main street of Calistoga, the Inn is an equally popular dining and accommodation destination for locals and tourists alike. The Cottage provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the company of others on the most popular al fresco dining Patio in town or in our Beer Garden, then escape to the privacy of your own cottage retreat. LATE CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS In the event that you arrive later than anyone being present at the Calistoga Inn we do have a backup plan: there is a black emergency staircase on the exterior of the back of the building (located on Cedar Street). We will place an envelope on the underside of the stairs with your name on it and the keys inside. We will ONLY do this if you have not yet checked in by the time our office person is leaving, so please try the Hotel Office door first. The Cottage is on the first floor of the building immediately behind the main building of the Calistoga Inn, at the intersection of Cedar Street and Hazel Street. It is denoted at Room #9. Calistoga is the crown of Napa Valley. Enjoy a day of wine tasting, then come settle in at one of our bars for a cold beer brewed right here onsite by the Napa Valley Brewing Company. Right down the street is Pioneer Park, and during the summertime, every Thursday evening is 'Concerts in the Park'. Make sure to get there early to drop off your blanket: it fills up fast! And of course, make sure your picnic basket is complete with a bottle of wine from one of our local wineries or a six pack of our hand-crafted beer! About the Owners My mother Rosie (of the famous Rosie's Café in Tahoe City) and I have owned and operated the Calistoga Inn since 1989. We're both active in the community where I've served as the vice-mayor of Calistoga for the last fifteen years and Rosie served as a city council member for five years before me. We are dedicated to elevating the experiences not just of locals, but for the many tourists who make their way to Napa Valley each year. While staying at the Inn, we hope you'll enjoy one of our hand-crafted beers, which are brewed onsite by the Napa Valley Brewing Company. We also have an extensive wine and cocktail list. The Inn offers a variety of venue spaces for you to enjoy throughout the seasons. We have an indoor sports pub, vintage dining room, new inside/outside patio bar, beer garden and the best al fresco patio dining scene in the Napa Valley. -Michael Calistoga is proud to offer a free shuttle to all visitors! This is an on-demand service, and guests simply dial the number 963-4229 (area code 707) and say where they need to be picked up and where they need to be dropped off within the service area (city limits). The shuttle will take them door-to-door. There is a local bike shop less than a block away from the Inn where you can rent bikes by the hour or by the day. If you're a fitness junky, you're in the right place: Calistoga Fit has both a fitness studio as well as a full gym, where they offer an incredible array of classes ranging from yoga to spinning to the infamous 'Dirty 30', as well as personal training for a daily drop in fee. If you're feeling more outdoors-y, the Oat Hill Mine Trail is at the other side of Lincoln Avenue, with beautiful views over Calistoga and our vineyards as you head up the 4.5 mile trail. Calistoga also boasts free public tennis courts and a community pool that is open between May and October.
