The spacious kitchen–dining room is fully equipped for home cooking and longer stays, with a stable door opening onto the tranquil back garden, while the sitting room features comfortable seating, a Tv/dvd player, and a wood-burning stove with logs provided for your first fire. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request. Upstairs, you will find both bedrooms – one king and one double, a bright bathroom offering both a bath and a separate shower, and a small snug provides a quiet spot for reading or unwinding. Outside, there are pretty cottage gardens to the front and back, furnished for al fresco dining, along with a barbecue, fire pit, and wooden recliners. Parking for two cars is available at the rear of the cottage. This cottage welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs. Wingfield is a charming and unspoilt village surrounded by rolling Wiltshire countryside, yet ideally placed for exploring the area. The popular, dog-friendly village pub, The Poplars, is within walking distance, while the historic market town of Bradford on Avon is just a five-minute drive away and offers independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and riverside walks. Bath’s Roman history, shops, and cultural attractions are easily reached by car or train, and family favourites such as Longleat Safari Park are close by. With excellent walking, cycling, and easy rail links nearby, the location combines rural tranquillity with convenient access to some of the West Country’s most loved destinations.
