This is a real lived-in home – warm, functional, and welcoming – ideal for families, longer stays, business travelers, and small retreat groups. Helsinki city center: 50 minutes by direct bus Airport: 20 minutes by car or taxi The house offers five bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements, making it easy to host families with children of different ages or small groups traveling together. The open living and dining area forms the heart of the home, filled with plants and natural light, creating a relaxed and homely atmosphere. The large, fully equipped kitchen is designed for real everyday living and longer stays. Cooking is easy and enjoyable, whether preparing simple family meals or shared dinners. For relaxation, the house features a private sauna, a bathtub, a shower, and three separate WCs, ensuring comfort even for larger groups. Heating is electric, complemented by a pellet fireplace that adds warmth and a cozy atmosphere, especially in the evenings. A unique feature of Villa Mehiläinen is the separate Japanese-inspired dojo with tatami (approx. 40 m²). The space is well suited for yoga, meditation, stretching, and quiet practice. It also provides a safe, soft area where children can move freely and release energy, particularly during colder or rainy days.
