The space This beautifully renovated detached stone cottage offers exceptional one-bedroom holiday accommodation, finished to a high standard throughout. Set within a generous area with its own private access, spacious driveway and ample off-road parking, the cottage enjoys a large space with open views across the surrounding countryside. Inside, the ground floor is bright and welcoming. A stunning breakfast kitchen features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and skylights, filling the space with natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, granite worktops, a Belfast sink and stylish cabinetry, alongside a breakfast bar perfect for relaxed mornings. Traditional exposed stone flooring adds to the cottage’s character. The open-plan lounge and dining area continues the rustic charm with exposed stone floors and a cosy log burner, creating a warm and inviting focal point. A large sofa converts into a comfortable double bed, allowing the cottage to accommodate additional guests if required. Full-height glazed doors open directly onto the garden, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living. A convenient downstairs WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs, the double bedroom retains the cottage’s original character with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, while clever use of space provides excellent storage. The modern bathroom features a bath, separate shower cubicle, vanity wash basin and WC, all set beneath a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams for a luxurious yet traditional feel. Hay and bedding can be provided at an additional cost. Horsebox parking is £10/night. We can provide riding routes and maps to explore the Peak District. There is a 20m x 40m rubber arena with mirrors available to use and we have an 'on site' Veterinary Physiotherapist should your horse require any physio. Other things to note Children and babies are very welcome at Bramble Barn. We are pleased to offer a range of family friendly equipment to make travelling with little ones easier, including a high chair, two travel cots, a Moses basket with bedding, a changing mat, and a full pram travel system with pushchair, bassinet, raincover and footmuff. Additional items include a travel bag, baby carrier, baby floor gym and baby bouncer. Please let us know in advance what you would like us to set up for your stay. Children must be supervised at all times. Horses are on site and may be ridden nearby (e.g. hacking past the barn or in the arena), so please ensure children do not run, shout, or approach horses, as this can startle them. Guests must not enter fields or feed animals. We are dog friendly and provide water bowls and dog towels to help keep muddy paws at bay. Please note there is no secure garden for dogs.
