Description

Stay with a winner: 2022 Historic Preservation Award winner!! UNIQUE & HISTORIC Ski Cottage in quiet area of Old Town near everything you want to be at: Old Town; Library with Movie Theater with year round Park City Film Series; City Park (concerts!); near bus line; walk to Old Town Lift; High West, etc. Location, location, location: 2 1/2 lot property in Old Town After a lengthy 2 1/2 years remodel, it is now ready for you!!! If you like NEW everything, then this is the place for you! The space Contemporary Design: shiplap walls; unique "Atomic Ski tiles" in bathroom (made out of my son's old Alpine race skis); designer floor tile, etc. Radiant Heat System throughout Ski Cottage!!! Much better than forced air blowing all winter long on you. Also super safe in winter: heated sidewalks and driveway so no issues with snow or slipping on ice. Free Bus Line right out your door. I have walked to Park City Ski Resort with my ski equipment (years ago) but better yet, take the "free" bus or even better - it's a short walk to the Old Town Ski Lift. Across the street from the Cottage on Woodside Ave is a VERY popular Yoga studio called The Shop. Steps away: the Public Library with dog park plus Movie Theater and Coffee Shop - great story behind the place: look up "Lucky Ones Coffee" - people with disabilities run the place. Must visit! Great breakfast down the street at Harvest (before Old Town Lift) and other places like Atticus Coffee Shop, High West Distillery, etc. Also check out a great restaurant called The Handle. I MAY be open to a pet (extra fee - TBD). There's a very popular dog park near the cottage - steps away. This is subject to a conversation prior to booking so please let me know if you have a pet. I don't but used too. Need an office? WiFi works great - ZERO complaints - NOT ONE.... but you can reserve office space right by me: go to Park City Library at 1255 Park Ave. See "Study Room". You don't need to be a local resident or have Library Card for a room. Great private/professional work space. FYI: my neighbor is selling Deer Valley tickets for $150 each. I think she has 2 available only. Guest access Easy, private access to the Cottage. Don't need to walk by other people at all. For most renters, my wife and I (empty nesters) never see the guests even tho we are right next door. The cottage is positioned in the back of my property where we simply don't run into each other - ever! Plus I have great neighbors - quiet! Double pain window plus foam installation makes it cozy and quiet. It's your own NEW place right in town and close to everything. I will follow up prior with more instructions on how to get to my place/cottage. Lots of communication to make it easy for you. FYI: I ski all the time and take the free, Public bus which is amazingly convenient (take any bus going downHILL Park Ave to the Resort Center; on way back I ski Quit N Time or Creole to Park Ave....OR....take the bus back to Main Street - don't take the RED back necessarily - there is a SIGN at Bus Circle and ALWAYS ask the driver for assistance. I never walk but you can to Old Town lift(or bus it). NOTE: Old Town lift on a Powder Day can be the angle since they might run it before the other lifts. It always depends so reach out to me. Happy to help. Other things to note Parking is always available - right in my driveway but let me know if you have a car. However the Cottage is near everything so save your money on a car rental. Just Uber or Lyft (I have seen Lyft much cheaper than Uber from the airport - depends tho on demand, etc) right to my place in town.
