The cabin has open plan kitchen and living room with fireplace, 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms (1 w/sleeping sofa), 2 bathrooms, 1 WC, sauna, hall, laundry room and large sunny outdoor spaces. The space Welcome to our cabin in Trysil! Size & Layout: The cabin measures 145 m² over two floors, with five bedrooms (four available for rent) and a sofa bed in the upstairs living room – a total of 11 beds. It features spacious living areas, a cozy fireplace, multiple bathrooms, sauna, and is nicely decorated with modern furniture. Almost everything in the cabin is brand new! Outdoor Areas & Location: A tiled terrace of approx. 50 m² together with the garden provides excellent outdoor space. The outdoor furniture is also new, including a large dining table with chairs and a lounge seating group. The property is over 2,000 m² and has a large play area right next door, offering great options for children to play. The cabin has a southwest orientation for optimal sun exposure. This cabin is in a class of its own, as the property is among the largest in the area and may offer the most beautiful panoramic view of them all. Large windows and outdoor areas make it easy to enjoy the stunning view of the Trysil mountain and the Trysil River. There is also good 5G coverage in Trysil and the Solskiva area Unique Touch: We want you to have everything you need for a perfect stay, and we are constantly making small improvements to make the cabin even cozier and more enjoyable. We've had the cabin since it was brand new and now believe we can offer something truly unique compared to many other cabins. The property and cabin are well maintained, and we focus on making it especially homey, with decorations and seasonal touches. We try to add small seasonal decorations, such as flowers, etc., but unfortunately cannot guarantee this will be done for your rental period. We put up an indoor Christmas tree with lights for Christmas and New Year, and we also have outdoor trees with lights. The cabin offers a fantastic view of Mount Trysil and the Trysil River and is perfect for both summer and winter stays. Location & Local Activities: The cabin is located in the Solskiva cabin area with large, sunny plots. Cross-country ski trails run right outside the door – you can strap on your skis on the trail just below the property, which connects to a 2.5 km floodlit loop. There are also extensive trail networks just minutes away, providing plenty of skiing options. The cabin is also well placed for cycling trips, and there is a large football field (Nybergsund stadium) just a few minutes’ walk away. The local area offers sledding hills, a swimming spot with a sandy beach, playgrounds, beach volleyball and open nature areas. Summer & Winter Activities in Trysil: It is only 7 km to Mount Trysil with Norway’s largest ski and bike resort – less than 10 minutes by car. Trysil has 69 ski slopes, 31 lifts and a brand-new gondola, plus three children’s areas and multiple snow parks – a total of 81 km of groomed alpine runs. Trysil also offers wide slopes, off-piste areas, terrain parks and many other snow activities on three sides of the mountain. There are also over 100 km of groomed cross-country trails. Popular winter activities also include dog sledding and ice fishing. Trysil is equally well suited to a variety of summer activities and is unrivalled in its biking opportunities! Family-friendly Trysil has Norway’s largest mountain bike park and is therefore a popular cycling holiday destination. Trysil Bike Arena has more than 50 km of purpose-built trails and around 100 km of natural singletracks. Gullia features numerous trails and pump parks suited to all skill levels. The 7 km “Magic Moose” flow trail from the top of the main lift provides a spectacular ride down the mountain. The mountain loop around Mount Trysil is another great cycling option. In addition, there is a “High & Low” climbing park, tennis court, golf course and two disc golf courses. There is also an Adventure Park with Mountain Coaster, Mountain Tube, electric mini go-karts and other fun activities for children. The Trysil area also has many fishing lakes, rafting possibilities and numerous opportunities for hiking and other leisure activities. Bowling and a waterpark are also available in Trysil. Trysil is near the Swedish border and about a 2.5-hour drive from Oslo. Mount Trysil has a peak at 1,132 m above sea level, and from the top you can enjoy views stretching for many kilometres in all directions. Remember to bring bed linens + towels (unless otherwise is agreed). We can provide bed-linens and towels if you have specific needs (i.e. if you travel from abroad and have limited travel capacity) for an additional cost. They were all new in 2024 and 2025. You can drive all the way to the door. Easy entrance. Other things to note Minor variations may occur compared to the photos, but overall this is what you get (with natural exceptions such as bedding, some decorations, etc.). Jacuzzi is NOT included in the rental and is therefore unfortunately not available to our guests. The cabin is rented to responsible guests only. The tenant must be over 25 years old. We send renters a document with more relevant information about the cabin, the cabin area and Trysil as a holiday destination prior to check-in. This has been very well received by previous renters.
