Peaceful desert farmhouse

Situated around 3km from the small village of Tagounite and close to the desert, this property offers tranquillity and spectacular scenery. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you! A quiet sleepy village, Tagounite offers a window into traditional berber/amazight life, alongside amazing scenery: mountains, desert, kasbahs and date palmeries. The space The house is a traditional mud and straw building, which has been partially restored (see photos) other parts of the house are yet to be restored. We have one bathroom, with traditional moroccan toilet. Showers are taken with a bucket, and you can heat water on the cooker! You are welcome to use the kitchen, or we can eat together, as you like! Water comes from a tank behind the house, and is good for drinking. However, if you have any concerns about water you can buy bottled water in town. Water is precious in a place like Tagounite so it is important to be mindful of the water you use. During your stay We are here for you if you need anything!
