Separate living and family rooms each w/ a full size couch and love seat. 5 houses from water. Pet and kid friendly. Easy walk to downtown shops & restaurants. All the action happens on this street! Spectators line near the yard to cheer. The house is in a prime Ironman location! You can't beat it. Less than .1 miles (5 houses) away from the park where the swimming occurs (Gerry Boyle Park). Easy walking distance (.6 miles) to Iron Village at Long Wharf Park. You can also walk downtown to enjoy the restaurants and bars. Cheer from right near the front lawn where mature trees create a canopy and line the street. Big windows overlook the street in both the living room and family room. Spectators are everywhere along the street and at the park. Eliminate the hassle of impossible parking and enjoy coming and going for meals and breaks. The house is a 3 bedroom ranch that is decorated with traditional eastern shore decor. Check out ****** maps street view to see the neighborhood. Update - please note the third bedroom (queen) has been re-decorated as a nursery. If your family has any young kids, let us know because we have all of the gear we would be happy to lend you. We also have lots of dog gear like a large crate it that is helpful as well. Guests will have access to the entire home, which is comfy and well appointed. Ample parking along the alley, which is invaluable during Ironman weekend. The street is closed for the race but you can access the house easily from the alley. We'll be staying nearby and volunteering for Ironman, but will be here to greet you and make sure you have everything you need. Ironman occurs on our street! No need for transportation, you can walk to all of the Ironman events! You can fit at least three cars along the alley and one in the driveway. The home has a king bed in the master, and a twin bed in the second room that is set up as an office. The king bed and the twin beds are memory foam mattresses which were purchased in August 2016. The third bedroom has a new queen bed purchased for the 2016 October Ironman. There is plenty of room for other air mattresses throughout the home if you wish. There is one extra memory foam twin bed that can be set up on the office (warning - very tight space for two beds but we have made it work before just fine). Linens and towels are new and used only for Ironman guests. There is a large family room with a long couch and loveseat, and a separate living room with a long couch and loveseat. The home is comfortable, 1660 sq feet, and has two separate full bathrooms. There is a detached garage but it does not accommodate parking. Update - please note the third bedroom (queen) has been re-decorated as a nursery. We will clear out all baby items and personal items from that room into the garage, but the decorations will remain. They are colorful and cheerful! If your family has any young kids, let us know because we have all of the gear we would be happy to lend you. Otherwise, if there are no young kids, there will be no evidence of a child except for the wall decorations and a fireplace safety gate. Directv, Netflix and wifi available.
