The space The Tournesol holiday home is bright and generously designed so that guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Inspired by the sunflower fields that define the landscape around the property, the gîte combines the charm of the French countryside with modern comfort and thoughtful details. This single-level holiday home offers 105 m² of comfortable living space and was designed to provide both functionality and relaxation. It is ideal for families, friends, or remote workers looking for a peaceful yet well-equipped retreat. Inside the gîte, you will find a modern, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. The welcoming living and dining area features a flexible dining table, a cozy reading corner, and a flat-screen TV with streaming access. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the entire house, making it easy to stay connected. The layout includes a spacious main bedroom with a king-size bed (180 × 200, which can be separated into two single beds), a wardrobe, and a comfortable sitting area. The second bedroom offers two single beds (90 × 200), which can also be combined into a king-size bed, along with storage space. In the living room, a comfortable sofa bed (140 × 200) provides additional sleeping space if needed. The family bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower, washbasin, and washing machine, and there is also a separate WC. Outside, the gîte offers a private, fenced garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, creating the perfect setting for relaxed meals and long summer evenings in complete privacy. Guests also have access to the extensive grounds of the property, shared with the two other gîtes. These include a 5 m × 10 m above-ground swimming pool, a large pétanque court, and a spacious open barn with table tennis and comfortable lounge furniture, ideal for relaxing, playing, and socialising. The location is perfect for exploring the region, with easy access to day trips such as Poitiers and the Futuroscope theme park, the historic harbour city of La Rochelle, the beautiful Île de Ré, and the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. Niort and the well-known town of Cognac are also within easy reach. Our aim is to create a relaxed, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere where all guests feel welcome and at home. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the Tournesol gîte and its private terrace, as well as shared access to the swimming pool, extensive grounds, pétanque court, and barn. We personally welcome guests on arrival, show them around the property, and hand over the keys. Other things to note The Tournesol holiday home is one of three gîtes on the property. Each gîte offers privacy while sharing generous communal spaces. The quiet rural setting is ideal for guests seeking relaxation, nature, and quality time together, while still being close to major attractions and the Atlantic coast.
