Åmås Events Guesthouse - Full house (two floors)

A welcoming guesthouse with three bedrooms, two living rooms and capacity for up to 12 guests. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fireplace and Wi-Fi. Loft living room with TV. Outside a spacious terrace, hot tub, grill area, big lawn, trampoline and beautiful views. Perfect for both families and groups all year round. Washing machine (NOK 100 per load). Electric car charging is NOK 200 per charge. The space The farm is located just 5 km from Ørsta town centre, at an elevation of 100 meters, offering great views and quick access to several scenic hiking trails. The King of the Sunnmøre Alps; Kolåstinden (1432 m) is located 12 km from the guesthouse, and the fascinating mountain top; Fingeren (1180 m) and Melshornet (807 m) is only 10 km drive away. The popular mountain top; Sandhornet (909 m) is very close, just 3 minutes drive for parking. Right outside the door, you’ll find well-marked and popular routes such as: • Åmskaret / Åmsnipa (527 m) – a comfortable walk with panoramic views • Lisje Veirahaldet (988 m) • Veirahaldet (1206 m) In winter, the location is excellent for skiing—both in the terrain, mountains and alpine. Ørsta Ski Centre is close enough that you can choose to leave the car and go there on skis directly from the farm. Nearby Attractions The property is conveniently located for exploring Sunnmøre’s highlights: • Standal (18 km) – with ferry to Trandal • Sæbø / Hjørundfjorden (21 km) – ferry to Leknes and Trandal • From Sæbø/Leknes you can continue a spectacular drive through Urke, Øye, Nordangsdalen, and onward to Hellesylt and Geiranger A short walk from the farm brings you to the historic stone bridge Høgebrua, with a popular and refreshing swimming spot in summer. The river is also known for salmon fishing; licences can be purchased in season from our neighbour, who is the local contact. Distances: • Ørsta/Volda Airport (HOV): approx. 9 km • Ørsta town centre: 5 km • Ålesund city: approx. 1 hr 20 min • Stryn and Loen: approx. 1 hr In summer, the property enjoys sunlight from morning until late evening. The sun is visible all year round. The area is private, spacious and family-friendly, and there is also a football field nearby. Guest access Guests have full access to the outdoor areas, including the large lawn, terrace, grill and fire pit with equipment, as well as the trampoline. The extra barn kitchen by the grill area is also available for outdoor cooking. Hot tub use The private spa hot tub is located on the guesthouse terrace. To keep the water clean and the system working properly, please follow these simple rules: • Always shower before entering • Only use the buttons “jet1”, “jet2” and “light” • Do not press “P” (program), “FM”, “CD” or any other settings • Press “jet1/jet2” again to stop the jets, and same for the light button, but hold a few seconds to shut off. • Do not adjust temperature, switchers, or system modes on the display (they are pre-set). Event barn – booking required Please note that Åmås Låven, our event and celebration venue, is not included in the guesthouse rental. If you wish to use the barn for gathering or celebration, it must be booked separately through our website: aamaasevents Other things to note The guesthouse is not a party venue. Cozy evenings with good food and wine are welcome, but no loud gatherings or late-night partying.
