An old fisherman's house by the sea, divided into small apartments with the charm of the Mediterranean style just 3 meters from the beach. The Suttasali studio apartment is located on the ground floor, and the garden veranda overlooks the common patio of the house from which you can directly access the beach. The beautiful outdoor kitchen, in the aromatic herb garden, is partly made with the recovery of wood that the sea deposits on the beach during the winter: a house made in Sicily!! The space The House on the Water was built by my great-grandfather in 1912. I grew up in this house with my grandparents, always breathing the scent of the sea. Over the years, I have learned to love this place that is very dear to me, which today I share with those who have decided to discover Sicily and spend a quiet holiday. The house, an old fishermen's dwelling, remains a simple place, which we have tried to make cozy and comfortable. The houses are completely independent, but the common patio is often an opportunity for a glass of wine or a chat with the other guests! The itinerant service with a truck of bread, fruit and vegetables is folkloric... ideal for those who want to stay on the beach lounger! The charm of the residence is certainly marked by the presence of the sea... so close that it becomes music for those who have the ability to listen... And if the sound of the sea dominates that of thoughts, then you are in the right place! Guest access The house is accessed through a patio/garden, which is overlooked by other independent houses. The house has a veranda for exclusive use, overlooking the patio/garden, shared with the other houses on the ground floor.
