One of these places is Casa da Horta, a small independent cultural and environmental association that for nearly 20 years has been a meeting point for activism, sustainability, community initiatives and local solidarity in Porto. Due to rising rents and the rapid transformation of the city, Casa da Horta recently lost the space that had been their home for 17 years and is currently raising funds to relocate and continue their work. To help support this transition, a small community contribution is included in every reservation. 100% of this amount goes directly to support their relocation and future activities. Guests are also welcome to visit Casa da Horta and take part in their events, workshops or community activities during their stay in Porto.
