Located in the quaint village of Dugnjevec, near Kumrovec and the Slovenian border, ou homestead place offers an intimate and immersive camping experience. We have carefully designed our space to blend comfort with nature, creating a sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself and the world around you. The space Location As you can tell, Green Hills Homestead is a secluded retreat. This means you won’t find a bakery or shop within walking distance, but in exchange, you get crystal-clear night skies and a level of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere. Authentic Atmosphere As this is our home, you’ll experience the true charm of a peaceful countryside life. Expect the soothing sounds of nature and the occasional distant village chatter. You might even meet our cats and unique Japanese Silkie chickens—their fluffy feathers and calm nature make them a favorite guest encounter (and yes, you might hear a traditional morning wake-up call from our roosters!). The Pool: A stunning shared swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip while overlooking the rolling hills. The Barn: The heart of our homestead! A beautifully restored shared barn, perfect for relaxing in the shade, meeting other guests, or simply enjoying the rustic atmosphere. The Grounds: With one hectare of landscaped communal gardens, there is an abundance of space to explore, find your own quiet corner under a tree, or let your pets roam freely. There’s plenty of room for laughter and long evening conversations under the stars. We only ask our guests to be mindful of the shared nature of the Homestead so that everyone can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the Zagorje hills. Everyone is Welcome! It’s our pleasure to welcome everyone, we also know that a family getaway isn't complete without your furry friends, so we are more than happy to accommodate pets! During your stay We want you to feel completely at home at Green Hills Homestead. While we respect your privacy and give you full space to enjoy your stay, we are usually around the estate tending to the grounds or near 'The Barn'.
