Arcas Cabin - Handcrafted Cumbrian Hideaway

Arcas Cabin is a unique, handcrafted retreat in the peaceful coastal village of Braystones, Cumbria. Finished in natural wood throughout, the cabin offers a warm, cosy space with comfortable seating, a relaxing sleeping area, and thoughtful bespoke details. Step onto the deck to enjoy the fresh coastal air and quiet surroundings. Just moments from the beach and within easy reach of the Western Lake District, it’s perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a calm and memorable escape. The space This self-contained, open-plan cabin features a comfortable living area with smart projector, a dedicated sleeping space with quality bedding, a compact kitchenette for light meals, and a private bathroom. Outside, guests have access to a private patio area with seating & wood-fired hot tub (this takes between 1-3 hours to heat). The cabin has its own entrance and convenient off-road parking nearby, offering a peaceful and private stay. Birthday/celebrations decorations can be put up for your arrival on request, but we ask that you do not bring or leave any balloons. Note - the cabin is located on our property. We live in a very remote location, but it is close to our home. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire cabin and private patio with wood fired hot tub. The cabin has its own entrance and is fully self-contained. Off-road parking is available nearby. The surrounding land and any neighbouring areas are not for guest use. Hosts live nearby and are available if needed, while respecting guest privacy. Other things to note The cabin features air conditioning for year-round comfort, an EV charger, and a wood-fired hot tub available for guest use (the hot tub takes between 1-3 hours to heat & instructions are provided). There is a unique mezzanine area accessed via a hand crafted tree trunk stair case, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The cabin enjoys peaceful woodland views.
