Single room on our farm - Orto

We are a German-Portuguese family, Bártolo, Tilda (12) and Ivo (8) living on our farm with our animals. In some months of the year, we organize artist residencies that, together with volunteers, live and work on the farm. Our guests will be completely alone and independent, and if they wish, we and the other residents would like to share and spend time with our guests. The peaceful atmosphere of this rustic destination will remain forever in your memory. The space The rooms located in a wing of the building renovated in 2025 are all equipped with single beds (800x200cm) that can be grouped into a double bed (160x200cm). The single room is simple and cozy with small dimensions (7.8 m2) The shared kitchen has a dishwasher, double stove, oven, toaster, kettle, refrigerator and all other necessary equipment. There are two bathrooms that are shared by the 6 bedrooms, with shower (100x80) and sink and toilet. You have all the freedom to use the entire outdoor space, you can have barbecues and use the old kitchen with the large indoor fireplace and the bread/pizza oven. Or just relax in one of the nice places in the garden. We don't have a proper swimming pool, but the kids love to bathe in the old stone tank. We are also available to accommodate small groups for workshops, conferences, etc. and provide workspace on demand. We have Alma, our very friendly dog, Mia the cat, Wilma the goose, sheep, chickens, ducks and two little pigs We are happy to share what the garden is providing at the moment. It's the perfect place to stay for just a few days or even longer. To relax, to work, to be inspired. We look forward to welcoming you! It is an area with six bedrooms that are usually shared with artists in residence and volunteers from around the world. Cozy single room overlooking the orange grove. 2 shared bathrooms. Other common spaces, kitchen, dining room, workspace are also shared. We have 6 rooms that are shared with artists and volunteers from our project. Other things to note We are located 30 minutes on foot, or 13 minutes by bicycle to CiBio-Univesidade do Porto, and the monastery of Vairão (Camino de Santiago). Registration Details 135878/AL
