Sleeping 8 people, it’s a perfect base for families or groups of friends, just a woodland walk from Abermawr beach and the Coast Path. Lovingly restored, it features oak floors, a wood stove, large family kitchen, cosy living room, private garden, 3 shower rooms, laundry room, large porch and parking. Dogs welcome! The space Penbwchdy Cottage, the original old farmhouse, has everything you need for the perfect holiday with your family or friends. Downstairs living is easy with a large well-equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of kitchen equipment so meals can be prepared together with ease. The kitchen also has a large dining table seating 8, a lovely space for sharing meals and quality catch-up time with family and friends. Downstairs you'll also find the cosy living room, with large comfy sofas to curl up in front of the wood-burning stove, plus smart TV and board games. Leading off from the corridor are the 3 bathrooms each with its own power-shower, large sink and WC. Here is also located the convenient laundry area with washing machine, tumble dryer and handy Belfast sink. Right by the cottage back door opening out into the courtyard, is the large porch and cloakroom. Perfect for your doggy friends to eat and sleep and plenty of room for all your outdoor coats and boots as you're sure to spend time in the woods and beaches! Heading upstairs you'll find the 4 nicely furnished bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a double bed with plenty of space for a cot if travelling with infants. Bedroom 2 is large light and airy and has a mezzanine floor with a double bed - its cosy up on the sleeping platform under the velux roof window and perfect for star gazing! Below in bedroom 2 there are 2 study built -in bunk beds, sleeping 4. Bedroom 3 and 4 are both single bed rooms for those who prefer more privacy. Outside in the courtyard guests can enjoy a shared space with lovely views straight down the valley to Penbwchdy headland. There's also a bbq and fire pit. For guests with bikes or outdoor kit such as wetsuits, surf boards or kayaks, we have an equipment shed for storage and wet-suit washing facilities. Guest access Parking on property for up to 4 cars. Private front door access to property as well as private back door into shared courtyard area. Other things to note Wetsuit storage and washing area available under cover as well as secure kit storage for bikes, kayaks and surf boards.
