Tucked beside a quiet dam on our 9-acre estate, this cosy vintage caravella offers peace, privacy and charm in the heart of Forth. Watch our friendly ducks, platypuses, Cedric the donkey, and Clover the cow. Enjoy a walk through the two mazes and labyrinths, book a forest sauna ($50 for our guests), and enjoy your own warm bath under the stars on your private deck. Dine at the Purple House Kitchen, open Wed–Sat, 10 AM–4 PM, serving wholesome food, coffee, and treats—just a short walk away. The space The Black Pearl Caravella is a charming, cosy, and peaceful nature-based escape. Inside, you’ll find a compact kitchenette with a sink, fridge, and microwave; outside, an open kitchen with hot water, a sink, and gas hotplates. The compact layout includes a comfy queen-sized bed, and cosy seating—perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Filtered drinking water is on tap, and a hot shower is available in the nearby bathroom block. The nearby toilet block has three toilets. Step outside to your private deck overlooking the dam, where you might spot ducks, native hens, or even a platypus. Enjoy a magical hot bath under the stars, and you’re welcome to book a rejuvenating session in the forest's wood-fired sauna ($50). As our guest, you can also explore the beautifully maintained mazes and labyrinths on the property. The Purple House Kitchen is open to the public from Wednesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM, serving nourishing food, organic coffee, and delicious treats made with love. Whether you're reconnecting with nature, seeking creative inspiration, or simply craving solitude, the Black Pearl is your perfect hideaway. Guest access Wander through our lush gardens, 5 acres of river flats, two sprawling mazes, peaceful labyrinths, and our growing arboretum. Light the riverside fire pit or glide your canoe along the Forth River. For a unique experience, pre-book our forest wood-fired sauna for six ($50 per hour) by contacting Pete. Complete it with a cold outdoor shower, an ice bath, or return to your private outdoor hot bath. A local store, bottle shop, and the Forth pub are 500m away. The Purple House Kitchen, known for its hearty, healthy eats, is open from Wednesdays to Saturdays and is on the same property.
