This is a great neighborhood-- on a quiet tree-lined street with historic Victorian homes (check out the street view in online maps, input: Calistoga Ave, Napa, CA 94559). Please note: There is a 2 night minimum stay for Friday and Saturday nights and for Sundays where there is a Monday holiday. For most other days, Sunday through Thursday requires just a one night stay. It's super easy to walk to dinner, shopping and wine tasting. There are so many great spots within just a few blocks of the apt! If you want to actually visit a vineyard (ie, a winery surrounded by 100s of acres of grape vines), you'll want to have a car. You can also rent a bike and only visit one or two wineries/vineyards in a day (we can arrange bike rentals for you, if you'd like). The nearest vineyard/wineries (Andretti, Trefethen) are about 5-6 miles away (1.5-2 hour walk each way). That's why having wheels can really save you time! If you want to be without a car, you can also go on a local shuttle bus tour ($100+ per person for the day, includes lunch but not tasting fees at wineries). We can make recommendations here for you. Most of our guests drive to the vineyards each day (visiting the wineries on their bucket list), park the car, and walk into town for dinner (70+ restaurants within 5-20 min walk).
