Granary at Kergudon Gîtes

Granary is a charming, well-equipped, comfortable gîte with a large, private, garden area. Sleeping a maximum of 6 in 3 bedrooms it has separate kitchen / dining and living rooms allowing everyone space to relax. We are sited in the natural park of Armorique within the Monts D'Arrée and ideally situated to access both the coasts and the amazing inland towns and villages of Finistère. The space Granary is a traditional Breton house, built sometime in the 19th century, which has been converted to provide comfortable and cosy accommodation while retaining its character and charm having been modernized to provide all the requirements of modern-day living. The accommodation is over 3 floors and the gîte can sleep a maximum of 6 people in 3 bedrooms. You enter the house on the ground floor into the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is modern and well equipped fitted in 2022 with a range cooker (double electric oven and gas hob); dishwasher; washing machine; fridge freezer and microwave. The dining room is off the kitchen and has a large dining table and 2 comfy reading chairs for relaxing in front of the wood-burning stove. Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom with large bath and over bath shower, toilet and sink. Leading up from the ground floor are stairs to the main living space with television and sofas and views over the Monts D'Arrée. Off the living space is the master bedroom with a king sized (150 – 200 cm) bed and private shower room with toilet and sink. On the second floor is a bedroom with a double (135 x 190 cm) bed and a twin room with 2 single (90 x 190 cm) beds. Granary has car parking space suitable for up to 3 cars and an EV charger (a small additional charge to cover electricity is requested). In front, on the south side so to get maximum sun, it has a gravel terrace with table and chairs and access to the enclosed, private garden. A BBQ can be provided. All of our guests at Kergudon have access to our many communal facilities. These include a large heated indoor / outdoor swimming pool and adjacent pool house (indoor / outdoor as it has a full height cover that can be opened in fine weather); boot room with a range of wellington boots for you to borrow for walking in the forest; a washing machine (additional to the one in the gite) and a tumble dryer. Our bike store has mountain bikes available to our guests free of charge; we have a pétanque (boule) pitch and family games room with pool table, babyfoot, electronic darts and a selection of games and books. The games room has a projector and large screen and can be reserved and used as a cinema for a family film night. We also have a well equipped fitness suite so you can maintain your physical routine when you are with us - or you can start one! David, one of the owners, is a fully qualified Personal Trainer who can generate a program for you or give you fitness training, yoga or pilates Guest access Guests will have sole use of the facilities in the gite as well as access to the communal services. These include a small but well equipped gymnasium (one of the owner's is a fully qualified Personal Trainer who can conduct PT sessions if required for an additional charge); mountain bikes to borrow free of charge; a wellington boot room, to borrow wellies for walking in the forest, which also has a washing machine (additional to the one in the gite) and tumble dryer. Above the garage is a family games room with babyfoot and billiard table which can also be used as a private cinema for family film nights; we also have a pétanque pitch for to play boules.
