Nestled in the heart of the Haut-Doubs in Hauterive-la-Fresse, our cottage "Les Sapins" offers an authentic setting in the middle of the forest. It is part of a preserved hamlet ideally located between Pontarlier and the Swiss border. It welcomes you year-round for a holiday in nature. In winter, enjoy Nordic sports and downhill skiing nearby. In the summer, explore the hiking trails and go mountain biking. An unforgettable experience of relaxation and conviviality awaits you there. The space Our cottage is located on a Franche-Comté farm, a typical single-story house in the Haut-Doubs. It consists of a large, fully equipped kitchen, a first bedroom with a double bed and a window overlooking the woodshed, and a second bedroom with two single beds and a double bed, with the window overlooking the unoverlooked countryside right in front. In the second bedroom, you have at your disposal a TV area with DTT and free Wi-Fi. A small, windowless room will accommodate your belongings, such as suitcases, food supplies, or other items. You have a bathroom and a separate toilet. Bath towels and hand towels are not provided; you must bring your own. Our cottage is on one level and has access to the outside and the garden, which are equipped with sun loungers, garden furniture, a barbecue, and a boules court. You are not overlooked; our cottage overlooks the fields and the fir forests. The beds for the stay will be made but we do not provide bath towels and tea towels for the dishes. Cleaning products will be available if needed. Guest access You can use the entire property and have the option to drop off your skis, bike... in a shed attached to the house. You have access to the outside with garden furniture, sunbathing Other things to note Our Franche-Comté farmhouse consists of three apartments: our gîte "Les Sapins" on the left, our gîte "Les Gentianes" on the right, and our apartment where we live with our two sons. You have no one above you and no one below you, just on either side. You will meet our other vacationers. We have baby equipment available free of charge Our animal friends are welcome with great pleasure at no additional cost and must not be left alone in the cottage if they bark or cause damage.
