Victory Cottage
Victory Cottage
Description
Victory Cottage is located on Church Street in Melksham’s town centre. Named after Victory Terrace, a row of houses that once defined this area and now part of the conservation zone, the cottage is just a stone's throw from the beautiful Round House, enhancing the street's unique character. Dating back to the late 18th century, Victory Cottage is a Grade II listed building offering spacious three-story accommodation with three bedrooms and an enclosed small rear courtyard garden. The space Please note that this is an old, characterful cottage and, due to the original layout of the property, the stairs are arranged across multiple levels and branch off to different areas of the house. As we have had to work within the existing layout of the cottage, the stairs may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who have difficulty using stairs. The cottage is situated in the town centre, between two businesses. As you would expect from a central location, there may occasionally be some noise from the surrounding businesses, particularly during weekend evenings in the summer months when the weather is warmer and the cottage windows may be open. Guests who are particularly sensitive to noise may wish to take this into consideration when booking.
