Farm stay in Vindafjord

The Birdbox is located at Langelandsvik Farm overlooking the fjord and the farm restaurant that is open in the summer months. A la carte menu is served on the jetty or in the tent. All rights regarding drinks. In the winter season, we organize popups with young chefs from renowned restaurants, preferably with Michelin stars. We use local produce from the farm. Skjoldafjorden is a fantastic paddling fjord with several small islands. At Skjoldastraumen you will find the country's only saltwater locks. The space On the farm we have over 100 cashmere goats and over 20 cows of the breeds Dexter and Vestlandsk Storfe. These are small cows that are curious and happy to be in contact with people. The Birdbox is located close to our pastures, but at the same time separated. The farm is surrounded by several hiking trails of varying difficulty. On the farm you will also find our Kayakomat. Here you can rent a kayak from 2 hours to full days. The farm is located about 2 hours by car from Preikestolen, just under 2 hours from Trolltunga, and 30 minutes from Haugesund/Avaldsnes with its Viking history. We have our own beach, and a short walk from the yard is Otertong free area with a great beach with sun until late in the evening. Guest access If you rent the Birdbox you will have access to a private bathroom with shower in the restaurant building by the jetty. You are welcome to use the beach, and feel free to visit the farm restaurant on the jetty. When the restaurant is closed, you can enjoy all the facilities by the lake. You are also welcome to contact the animals on the farm in the various pastures.
