By request:Extra bed for $35/night. The space Keyless, self-check-in, and separate entrance, completely private. Nothing shared with owner or other guests. Perfect for the wedding guest, business traveler or scholar-lots of light on sunny days, attached study and library. Study with closeable door, 2nd work space at table in bedroom, Second floor so there is a full flight of stairs to and from this guest suite. Nice views to the neighborhood. If you need an additional sleeping space for your 2-person reservation, there is an additional tiny bedroom (historic trunk room w double bed) on your same private floor. This tiny room is never used by others during your stay. Its occupant WILL SHARE the double bathroom & MUST ACCESS it through your primary bedroom--so, best for family member or closest of friends. This is a completely smoke-free home so there is no smoking of anything inside or outside. No charging of devices/vehicles other than phones, laptops, tablets, and other communication devices. No mining of bitcoin or the like. Guest access This is a second floor suite with no use of the first floor without prior request and paid fee. The backyard and rear driveway are not included. There is free on-street parking in front of the house. Permit parking during the weekdays w owner providing free and returnable permit. Other things to note This is my family home--not a resort or spa space-it is a cozy, homey space, and not a standard, designer venue. Our intention is for a comfortable and convenient place to visit the area and use as a home base while in Charlottesville. I provide self-service breakfast bread, coffee and tea, and sweeteners so that you will not have to shop upon arrival. I do not provide bottled water because our city has a high quality granular activated carbon treated water supply. Please let me know if you prefer that I not provide coffee or breakfast bread--I cannot offer substitutions or discounts. Please note: this is a top floor suite. The connecting double bathroom intentionally has no curtains or blinds because it is so high above the townhouses to our east. Great place to see the sunrise, the moon at night, and the view toward city streets. There is a sliding door between the shower room and the tub room so that anyone desiring complete visual privacy can close that door to block views into the tub room.
