Mastixa maisonette lithi Chios

Lithi is a traditional village in the area of mastic villages. It is a very beautiful natural harbor of the homonymous village. Lithi is built amphitheatrically, among pines and other lush vegetation, facing the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. The harbor combines a fishing retreat that hosts the famous fishermen of the area and a large, welcoming beach with fine sand and shallow clear waters. Lithi beach is only a 10-minute-walk or a 2-minute-drive away from our complex. The quaint beach Mavra Volia could be easily visited since it is only 20km away(15-min drive) and the village Pirgi which seems to be a village of an another era is easily accessed too. It surely worths a visit since it is one of the largest and most impressive villages of Chios that is preserved in the exact way as it was built and has been declared to be a preserved monument. With a few sun beds and much free space on the beach, Lithi is a good choice if you want to get away from crowded places and have your own piece of mind. The beach is on the south west of the island and it is great for long-term sunbathing and relaxing. There is also a variety of Greek taverns nearby, where you can eat fresh fish. Τhe square of the village is just 2 minutes on foot from the apartment and there, you can find a bakery, a traditional grocery store and of course, a tavern where you can eat the well-known “souvlaki”. Finally, you will definitely enjoy drinking your ice coffee or tea on the veranda of the apartment during the sunset.
