Other things to note The road behind the cottage is charming yet narrow, typical of the Lake District. Please take care when approaching. Private Parking is located across the road from property and is on grass, which is common for rural homes in the area. Due to the cottage’s historic character, some features may be slightly uneven or rustic, adding to its charm. The Lounge and kitchen areas are a typical country cottage and the beams are low in places. Garden: Guests have use of a separate private garden located across the road from the cottage. This is a natural, rustic, meadow-style garden rather than a formal landscaped or enclosed garden, so the ground may be uneven and there may be the usual features and hazards associated with a rural outdoor space. Guests use the garden at their own risk and should take appropriate care. Children and pets must not be left unattended in the garden at any time, and children and pets should always be supervised when crossing the road between the cottage and garden.
