Created from Rita and Gigetto’s dream in 1980, this house at 3,609 feet is an oasis of peace amidst woods and pastures. The space Located at an altitude of 3,609 feet (1,100 meters) on the eastern side of the valley, the house enjoys an excellent sunny exposure that provides natural light until late afternoon. The property is nestled in an oasis of peace on the edge of the woods, surrounded by a large private lawn. In the spring (April–June) and fall (September–October) months, it is common to see the cows of local shepherds grazing peacefully in the surrounding area. On the Ground Floor (Living Area), there is a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. There is a separate room used as a study, perfect for working from home or reading, equipped with an extensive collection of books, publications, and board games. The first floor is accessed via an external staircase, and here we find the sleeping area with two bedrooms: one with 2 additional beds for children (a travel crib and a 160-cm bed) and the other that can be configured as a second double bedroom or as a twin bedroom with separate single beds. In the basement, there is the tavern, a distinctive space equipped with a fireplace. Firewood is at your complete disposal to warm up your evenings. From the lower-level living room, you can access the main bathroom (which has a bathtub and bidet). The bathroom has direct access to the large outdoor terrace: here, you will find a spacious pergola with a table for al fresco dining and a dedicated barbecue area (specific supplies are stored in the chests in the dining room on the ground floor). The outdoor games available at the studio. At high altitude, water is precious. We have two water heaters: a quick-boil model for the kitchen and a 300-liter model for the bathroom. We recommend using water sparingly to ensure hot water for everyone. In rare cases of need, you will find spare water jugs in the tavern and mineral water for drinking. The stovetop is powered by two gas cylinders with a switch. Your safety is our priority. The house is equipped with a foam fire extinguisher on each floor (3 in total). In the built-in closet, you will also find the first aid kit. We provide Wi-Fi via a router, ideal for messaging and basic browsing. The cell phone signal is more stable outside. The house is located about 9 km from the center of Settimo Vittone (about 20 minutes along a paved mountain road).
