The space Welcome to Cliff Cottage! Tucked away in the beautiful Somerset countryside, this beautiful home is situated within the 450-acre Cookswood gated estate. Downstairs: The full equipped kitchen has a Smeg ground coffee machine which you are welcome to use for your stay, we do not supply the beans for this. As you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting hallway, beautifully decorated with thoughtful artwork and prints showcasing local Somerset scenery - All three bedrooms and the main bathroom are located on this level for added convenience. Bedroom One – The master suite boasts a comfortable king-size bed along with a private en suite shower room and WC. Bedroom Two – A second king bedroom featuring built-in wardrobes with ample storage. Bedroom Three – A twin room with two single beds and integrated wardrobe space, ideal for children or friends travelling together. A sleek, contemporary family bathroom completes this level, offering a bath with overhead shower and easy-to-use modern controls. Fluffy white towels and crisp white linen will be provided for your stay. Upstairs: At the top of the stairs, you’ll enter the bright and airy open-plan living area. To the left, a welcoming lounge with plush seating and a TV creates a relaxed space to unwind after a day of exploring. The modern, fully fitted kitchen offers premium appliances and a central island—perfect for cooking with company. Adjacent to the kitchen, a spacious dining table provides an inviting spot for shared meals and gatherings. This floor also benefits from a utility room equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as a conveniently located WC. Outside Guests can enjoy the scenic views whilst relaxing in the luxurious hot tub. We ask guests to bring their own towels for hot tub use. Guest access You have access to the entire property and garden. The house also has parking up to 4 cars. 2 parked at the house and 2 parked at the main entrance building. Guests staying at the property also have access to the Cookswood Estate Mineral Lake, which is fed by natural local spring water. During the summer months, the water takes on a beautiful turquoise hue, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating setting. The lake is perfect for wild swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy nature in a private and tranquil environment. The house is located on the Cookswood development where we will need to supply all guests' names and vehicle registrations for security. Other things to note Please note that the lake is owned, managed, and operated by Cookswood Estate, and we have no control over its operation or maintenance. Safety rules must be followed at all times when using the lake. These will be available within the property and in the guest house guide. Please note this property is not a party/ hen do/ stag house as it is situated in a quiet, rural environment. Please see below a few house rules: ★ No parties or events. ★ Please do not smoke in the house (inc. vaping & e-cigarettes). ★ Please do not wear shoes inside. ★ Please avoid making an unreasonable amount of noise, particularly after 11pm. ★ No candles/naked flames inside or outside. ★ Hot tub may still be heating up on arrival
