Wildflower Quarters - Boutique Hotel-Style King Countryside Suite

Description

Wildflower Quarters is one of two stylish and cosy hotel-style suites under one roof on our 9-acre Greenstead, home to the 'Greenstead Life' Podcast. Best suited to solo travellers and couples seeking a memorable, simple, affordable and comfortable base from which to explore the area; rather than a secluded, ultra-quiet stay. The compact suite features a luxe king bed, ensuite, kitchenette, private entrance and parking. NEW Guests enjoy evening access to our hidden Vintage Teashop Experience! The space **Please note** 1. There is NO cooktop, oven, exhaust fan or fireplace. We do provide a small electric frypan, air fryer, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, kettle and pancake maker (with complimentary pancake mix)! Guests seeking a fully self-contained stand-alone cabin experience (with a fireplace) may prefer to book one of our other two eco-stays, Gumnut Cottage Gippsland or Banjos Cabin Gippsland. 2. Stringybark Quarters shares the same roofline as Wildflower Quarters, with separate entrances, parking and no shared internal spaces. As with many dual-occupancy properties, some sound may carry between the two suites. The Greenstead Sanctuary is home to alpacas, a flock of roaming Mini Harlequin sheep, Babydoll and Suffolk sheep, young food forest plantings and open paddock spaces, creating a relaxed rural setting in the foothills of Gippsland's High Country. **NEW OFFERING: COMPLIMENTARY EVENING VINTAGE TEASHOP EXPERIENCE** Guests enjoy complimentary evening access to our hidden Vintage Teashop after the day's visitors have departed. Step directly from your suite into the teashop to browse vintage wares, bush tucker products and gifts, choose from more than eight varieties of tea, and self-serve your own pot in beautiful vintage Teaware. Visit during *Pink Hour*, when the sky softens through shades of gold and blush pink across the foothills. Beneath the glow of vintage lamps and festoon lights, and alpacas and Mini Harlequin sheep often grazing nearby, it's the perfect place to unwind before heading out to dinner or settling in for the evening. To help personalise your stay, our guest portal offers a range of optional extras including breakfast baskets, farmhouse picnic baskets, romantic room styling to surprise someone special, early check-in, late check-out and professional farm animal photo sessions. **Guest Suitability** Unfortunately this accommodation is unsuitable for children due to rural property hazards, including an unfenced pond. Wildflower Quarters is best suited to relaxed, easygoing guests who are comfortable with a cosy hotel-style suite, occasional sound transfer and the natural sights and sounds of a rural property. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy open areas of the Greenstead during their stay, including walking areas and shared outdoor spaces around the homestead and paddocks. For safety and animal wellbeing, access inside animal enclosures and feeding is by invitation only. Wildflower Quarters has a private entrance and dedicated parking right beside the door. Check-in is simple and contactless via keybox, allowing you to arrive and settle in at your own pace. Other things to note The Greenstead is a rural property where nature, animals and seasonal rhythms are part of the experience and unfortunately due to an unfenced pond and other hazards the property is unsafe for children. There is no exhaust fan, oven or cooktop, however a microwave and other appliances are provided. Fires of any kind are not permitted on the property, including personal fire pits, BBQs, outdoor cooking equipment, candles, open flames or personal firewood. Swimming is not permitted in the pond, and the use of drones is not permitted due to the impact on animals and neighbouring properties. The property isn’t suitable for children under 18 years of age, parties, events, or visitors. Smoking or vaping isn’t permitted indoors, and pets aren’t able to be accommodated.
